When my unit quit, they replaced it at a very reasonable price and even brought in a portable air conditioner for us to use until they put my new unit in the following day. Great service!

I highly recommend Ellsworth! They were on time and being new homeowner in Florida the tech.was very helpful and informative. The thermostat was not working properly and I called them the next day and they were at my door in 15 minutes and fixed the problem!

FIRST…it’s hot! Very hot. After 25 years using this company, I’m done. 5 years ago they installed my Trane a/c. Always servicing and repairing. Recently, after them fixing a broken Freon line and putting Freon back in, I noticed my air slowly loosing its cooling. I called and was told that because it’s so hot outside my air conditioner can’t keep up. Give it a few day. I did and at day 2 I lost all my air. The tech came out and first said I had 10lbs too much Freon. So, he let 10 pounds out. I ran outside and said I had cooler air for 10 seconds then back to warm. 2 hours later he could not diagnose the problem. Later that night a second tech came out and said I needed a new compressor. It could take 3 days to 3 weeks to come in. While I wait there was no assistance from them to help me survive that period of time. I had no choice but to call other companies. ALL told me because the Freon had been over filled, there was too much pressure on the seals which in turn caused the compressor to go. I had no choice but to have a whole new a/c installed. I have bad asthma and a sick dog that would of not survived another week. I called and emailed Ellsworth and I was told, ”we are looking into it. ” Of course no response to date. 7 days later they did call to tell me the compressor was in and to schedule the repair.
I sent a request for a call and never received one, so I called another AC co for maintenance.
Called the tonight, July 3rd at 8: 30pm. By 9: 30 pm my ac capacitor was replace and ac up and running. Decent price considering it's emergency service and a holiday weekend. Happy wife happy life. Thank you. I found my go to AC service company.
A local business that is honest, fast and professional. I would not hesitate to refer them and/or contact them for my AC needs.
Our ac unit is not cooling and I was recommended this company. I called and I was met with a lady with a heavy Spanish accent. (Did not get a name, however I’m Hispanic so I know she’s a Spanish speaker). It was TERRIBLE customer service from beginning to our very abrupt end when she slammed the phone on me and hung up on me in the middle of my request for service. She did not want to help me with setting up an appointment, she was rude and short and she sounded annoyed from her first word and all I needed was some help. Just on our exchange alone, I wouldn’t want to go with this company if the people employed here treat potential clients the way she did. Today you lost a potential client. I’ll take my business and my money elsewhere. Definitely not Ellsworth. 0/10
Called looking for a good company to maintain my HVAC and found a great one. Jim was my service tech and was extremely knowledgeable and professional. I committed to be a long time customer and signed up for a biannual service agreement.
Today 3/27/2023 I had a drain line issue that started over the weekend. The technician (Kevin) came out as promised. He diagnosed the location and put in a new clean out. He was very informative and professional. Once again Ellsworth Heating and Cooling went above and beyond my expectations.
We have used Ellsworth twice now for our home in Magnolia landing. Each time they have provided extremely professional service.
Called early morning and less than two hour a guy came by. My AC was old and had a leak. I knew that. I ordered a new one and by 1: 30 the same day it was working. So far I am very pleased.
I have been using Ellsworth for over five years now and have always been highly satisfied. I recently had no heat and problems with the blower on my AC/Heat unit. The technicians who came were honest, professional, knowledgeable, and very polite. They were able to repair everything in time for the coldest weekend of the winter in Florida! Their price was reasonable as well. Always happy with Ellsworth!
