Embassy Suites by Hilton St Augustine Beach Oceanfront Resort reviews
17 Gorgeous rooms, and views! The conference /ballrooms are very spacious. The amenities seem boundless, and over looking a sunset from balcony or pool with an Oceanview is where ITS AT!
Great event location!
The hotel is beautiful but overall not worth the price. The valet fee being 35 a night is a bit much along with the resort fee.
My wife and I take an anniversary trip every year to different places and this year (our thirty year anniversary). We decided to go here and the Hilton did not disappoint, even though there was construction going on because of the previous hurricane damage. We will definitely be staying here again in the near future.
Place is great, stayed a few times now. The pool once was heated quite nice is no longer case now, barely heated if it all. When showering or trying to get hot water in the room takes about 10 min, silly. Lora of work with new sea wall going in, probably should have done that prior to construction as an eyesore and earache for a Lux style hotel at the price paid.
A good hotel in a great area with a great walking beach out of the north gate. Their were a few maintenance issues with the bathroom sink drain stopper now opening up very far and the sliding door secondary safety locks did not line up with their receptacles making g them useless. We had great ocean views from the second floor but I would not like paying a premium for ocean front and getting a first floor view that is obstructed by everything on the grounds. The location is nice but there is not much else around within walking distance so plan on getting your car from the valet or eating only at the property which was good. Everybody was nice except I did need to press a bit to get the 2 hour diamond late check out which they said was available but tried to charge me extra for.
A very nice place to stay but there is some construction to slow down beach erosion but you still can get on the beach
Amazing place. Had some construction going on, but their service was excellent, and I didn't notice. One person was rude, but overall, it was good. She snapped at me when i asked for more coffee for the service at the conference i was attending.
Great location. Close to a lot of places to eat, all in walking distance. Amazing location right on the beach. Great amenities. Definitely will come again.
The ongoing construction in the beach and pool area looks necessary but significantly degrades the hotel experience.
We were very pleased with the amenities, ease of access to the beach, and the excellent customer service. We will definitely be returning.
Very nice pool area, room was clean and large but pricey for location, beach is so small, and rocky, current seawall construction impedes views
This is a beautiful hotel inside and out. All staff were very friendly. Unfortunately they are going through some beach renovations but still had a good time. Would have been nice to have been given a complimentary upgrade for being a rewards member since plenty of upgraded rooms showed available. I was told there would be a charge when I asked. Guess I am just used to other loyalty programs that do that complimentary. Only real issue was AC was very loud and made a loud bang before it came on and before it shut off.
Location is wonderful. Beach has some damage from last years storm but still had nice access to the beach to the north. Rooms were nice. We had a king studio that was very roomy. Amenities are nice. Complementary breakfast was very nice. Pool is a very good size with entry on either end. Bar area for drinks and snacks by the pool was very nice. Staff was very friendly. Several restaurants within walking distance. Only a few miles from downtown St Augustine.
This is probably the nicest Hilton hotel I've been to in Florida. Great location, great beach view/city views. I plan on coming back again very soon. The room was immaculate. Bed was cozy. Ac worked great. Elevators are quick. Only downside is parking. There is no self parking. You have to pay valet. The bright side valet is quick the fee covers the full day. Pretty nice for the rainy days being that it rains in Florida almost everyday. This hotel is definitely worth the 5 star rating.
Other notes:
They have Starbucks.
They have a full bar and restaurant.
They have breakfast I am not a early bird so I missed the occasion.
This was a really nice resort. Breakfast was good, the ambiance and vibes were great, the room was great, location was great.
The only downside (which seems to be a theme in St. Augustine) is pretty costly valet parking every night. Also another common hotel feature is the 'resort fee', even if you don't use the benefits that come with it.
Overall though, I had a great time here, and would stay again.
The kind they sell online and the one they offer when you arrive at the hotel is not true. This is a lie. They will also charge you $35 per day for parking. This is not stated anywhere, surprise. They will also charge you a $25 resort fee, which is also a surprise. The hotel is clean, the staff is polite, the breakfast is delicious. The pool is large and clean.
Brittany at the front desk went above and beyond with her service. Super helpful and accommodating. Cant beat location right on the beach. Hands down best Embassy Suites I have ever been to. Thanks again Brittany!
