Embassy Suites by Hilton Tampa Airport Westshore

Don’t let the reviews fool you. I am a Hilton Honors diamond member and have stayed here for years. Yes there’s construction, but the completed rooms are awesome and the construction starts at 8 am and goes to 6 pm. Never bothered me. Clean, great hospitality hour at the bar and everyone is so damned friendly.

Hotel is in renovation. Check to see if you will actually get the room and bed size you reserved. This is not a guarantee.

Multiple rooms from our group had to request room changes for fowl odors or in one case an actual chicken wing in a bed.

I had to walk down from the 15th floor due to a fire alarm to find staff in the lobby unconcerned and not providing any direction to the assembling guests.

The service is good in general. The hotel is below my expectation compared to other embassy suites we stayed in before. It needs a lot of updates. Also the hotel charges $12/day for parking

Not a good representation of the brand at this time. Many rooms are being renovated and rightfully so. The breakfast was par at best.not what I normally experience at an Embassy Suite.

This place is due for many improvements, but they are clearly trying to make them as there was construction going on, on our floor. It wasn’t the cleanest and I had to call several time for cleaning services which were mostly left undone. Despite that, we still had a comfortable experience. The breakfast is great! The “complementary” happy hour was nonexistent because my husband paid $50 for 2 drinks and dessert. Other than that, I have no complaints. The staff were nice and accommodating, and we had no other issues during our stay.

Rooms and hallways very rundown. Room was not very clean. Parking garage has terrible entrance and exit, very small and filthy food and garbage in stairwell. Very awkward getting into and out of parking structure. Outside of building also looks worn and old. Staff at checkin was ok. Breakfast was good but evening snack was a disappointment compared to other Embassy suites I've been to will not go back.

Everything was great, from the moment I arrived until I checked out. Could not have been happier with the hotel, the people, and the service.

Stayed 4 days. Would have been great to know about the construction. Wouldn't have stayed here being pregnant and with a 1 year old. Intermittent sleep and CONSTANT banging and dropping of tools. Feel like it began a few minutes to 8am. No warning at all. Breakfast was phenomenal. Ms Jennita is an ABSOLUTELY AMAZING cook and staff member. Food is super delicious. Best part of my visit. Room was spacious and clean. Bathroom was fine. Bedroom does get warm and doesn't cool like rest of suite. Not sure about returning to THIS hoteluntil they get it together.maybe for breakfast. That's it.

The facility is under renovation on all most every floor. Construction starts about 8am, ask the management what floors are being worked on. The complementary breakfast is the best I have ever experienced at any lodging. Staff is great, helpful, communicative and most are longtime employees with an experience that shows in how they interact with their guests.

This is the worst Embassy Suites I've ever been to. We were there for four nights. They did explain when we checked in that you had to call by 10pm if you wanted your room cleaned. Fine I don't need it every day. We arrived on a Thursday. Friday I called down and said we needed cleaned on Saturday. That would have been it as we were leaving Monday morning. They did not come on Saturday. So I called for Sunday. Again they never cleaned. We left and they were 2 doors from our room. We had trash piling up. We had to get towels several times. We had a corner suite. The problem was the main room stayed cool. The bedroom was hot. The AC did not make it's way into the bedroom. It was 80 degrees or more in the bedroom. It was miserable. For the price we paid we should have never had these problems. I would not recommend this hotel. I'm a Hilton honors member. This is by far the worst experience I had in a Hilton hotel.

Great place to stay when coming to Tampa! Centrally located in S Tampa (Westshore) and its convenient to the Beaches, Raymond James stadium, Carrollwood and downtown Tampa.

I was there visiting and we sat in the lounge area on the second floor. Don't sit by the side door for the smokers, that smell will hit your nose. It's located across from the Westshore mall and plenty of restaurants in the area.

Very close and convenient to the airport, shopping, gas stations, etc. The 2 br/2 ba suite was spacious with a wonderful view. The downside was the room smelled like mildew every time we walked in. There was big brown spots on the lamp where it had gotten wet. Housekeeping never showed up not once the entire time we were there. For the price though it was worth it I suppose

I was not valued as a silver honors member. The hotel did not inform me they were under construction and did nothing to accommodate me from a long travel. I received nothing worthy of a Hilton brand

Stayed at the hotel for a week while on a golf trip with friends. I can honestly say that the poor ratings are undeserved. There were some room renovations taking place in, but it never interfered with anything.

The breakfast was very good, with the exception of tasteless bacon, including the eggs/omelets made to order. The wait staff was friendly and attentive.

The evening happy hour included two free drinks. Additional alcoholic drinks could be purchased at reduced prices. The bar staff was friendly and very generous with their pours. Shout-out to Christina and Bonnie.

The front desk staff was always helpful and attentive. Shout out to Arkenya.

Like most hotels these days, daily room service was not available, but cleaning was offered every three days upon request. Clean towels and other amenities were available from the front desk.

The hotel has it's own restaurant and there are many others located within a short walking distance, or via the hotel shuttle.

Overall, our stay was very enjoyable and I would recommend this hotel to others without hesitation.

Construction on 12th floor. No peace complained only to be told hotel booked. Didn't even get room booked originally. Complained no response from New owners.

Very nice Hilton, the breakfast is just ok but happy hour was great! Room was large and clean.
