Embers Wood Grill reviews
17Pricey but worth the treat once a year. The atmosphere is sublime and the waitstaff exceptional.
The steak at Embers is delicious. I had the Filet Mignon, and they customized it for me by searing it in Cajun spicing. It's amazing! The menu here has wonderful options, you cannot go wrong.
We were in town with family for a special occasion. The restaurant is located in a small strip mall, but don't let that fool you. Once inside were amazed by the ambiance. It's very quaint and ther service was impeccable. Our waiter made sure we were taken care the entire night. I had the filet and my wife had a ribeye, which were cooked to perfection. They have a lobster mashed potatoes that is good, but truffle Mac and cheese is DELICIOUS. We were too full for desert, but will definitely be back again when in town.
Delicious food. Amazing service for large groups. We must have had 40 people in our group and all food cooked perfectly, hot, and timely. I was impressed
Prices are pretty high end, and food is usually exceptional. However, during this last visit, my steak and spinach were very, very salty. That being said, we enjoy eating at an upscale place now and then. Wines are pricey, but excellent selection. For two, expect to pay upward of $150-200, especially if including a cocktail and/or bottle of wine.
The food was exquisite! The service was above and beyond. The atmosphere was great. I was not disappointed by anything here and was quite pleased by everything. Although it might be a bit pricey it was well worth every penny.
We ordered Togo & had the short rib tonight, with the truffle Mac n cheese. My husband and I were pleased with how large the portion is for the price. Compliments to the chef, the short rib fell apart as it should and was so full of flavor. We loved it and will absolutely be back and recommending to our friends and family passing through
The BEST place for steaks. I got the filet mignon, and it was cooked perfectly. The sides are great, too. I got the mashed sweet potatoes with a touch of bourbon and the sauteed wild mushrooms. Delicious! Dessert was a banana foster cheesecake, but I've also had the flourless chocolate cake. Both are great. We come here for special occasions and we have never been disappointed.
I called to make a reservation and was told by the young lady that answered the phone that they were full. Me having a deep voice I asked my female friend to call less than two minutes later and was able to get a reservation immediately. My drink was good and my waiter was professional, however my steak was cold. This is the second occasion where calling and getting a table was an issue. The previous time I was told there was plenty of room no reservation was needed, but when I arrived was told that they were full and couldn’t be sat. On both occasions when I was sat there were plenty of other tables with no one seated.
It's was a wonderful dining experience. I had the best birthday with my love ones and a great service on a nice ambiance.
I came here a while ago with my wife to be and, let me tell you, this was beyond phenomenal, one of the finest bestest experiences I've ever had in my life (period!). First of all, the bread, gurrrlll if you know you know, that's how I imagine the forbidden fruit in the garden of eden tasted, I'd doom all of humanity too for that bread! I had the pesto pasta with zucchini, really good! Afterwards my fiance and I shared a cheesecake (it was my birthday) and it was so good (I didn't get a picture of it though but it was so pretty and cute, I loved it). The whole night was so fancy and romantic (especially afterwards lol hehe). I HIGHLY recommend Embers!
It was a nice meal. It is the only high end restaurant open on Mondays.which explains why it was full.
Food was good, service was relaxed and we enjoyed.
Wonderful Dinner. Steak and Duck were delicious. Walked in at 9: 45, and it closed at 10, and still, every aspect of dinner was exceptional. From the bread man who ironically has the same name as my son Jayden. Mike was our waiter was extremely knowledgeable on every from the beverages, to salads, and the entrées. Extremely enjoyable. 5 Stars will absolutely return with the right woman next time.
I made reservations for dinner here, recommended by a friend. They have a fabulous wine list to choose from. The decor is okay but the service was really good. We had the pleasure of having Steven as our waiter, excellent man. Steven was knowledgeable of the food and wine menu and recommended some good items. I loved the lamb chops and mashed sweet potatoes I ordered. I had a great dinner.
The 10 ounce fillet is AMAZING! It's a little dated and low key atmosphere. Cocktails were phenomenal. Must try.
Very upset with the experience. The appetisers were fine, but the main courses were not. I invited my boyfriend for his birthday and I called to make a reservation and order a dessert as a surprise for him and the server never brought it.
The worst part was to wait for over an hour and a half for the food!
Absolutely amazing! From our server Reese to every bite of food, an experience we will never forget! We WILL drive 2 hours just to eat there and go back home again, it's that good!
