Emerald Coast Bait and Tackle reviews
14 Had a great experience there thanks to Calvin. He was informative and helpful, and very enthusiastic and patient. I’ll be coming back here.
Huge shoutout to Thomas as well. Stopped in recently and he was polite, informative, and helpful. Best bait shop around!
Absolutely the best tackle shop on the panhandle! Hands down the best people and they know their stuff.
Down for the week with work and stopped in to ask questions. Hayden took the time to answer all my questions and point us in the right directions. I’m an over thinker with lots of questions and this young man was extremely patient. Product selection is awesome and prices are fair. This is a go to shop.
Best tackle shop in the panhandle. I live in Pensacola and drive over and hour just to shop here. The staff is very friendly and always down to talk fishing. Not rude or on there phones all the time like some other places I have been. They stock everything I need for inshore fishing. The amount of tackle they keep and the quality brands they keep is a big deal if you are serious about fishing. I also know they sell kayaks and some accessories as well. I will be buying my next old town from them at the end of the year. Couldn’t recommend more. Great people.
Very helpful, didn’t judge a new Fort Walton pier fisherman. They helped me select local hot tackle, and yes it was what the locals were using. I saw a few of the same faces from the pier yesterday morning work in the store. Inshore or offshore fishing is expensive so you already know.
I would recommend this place to anyone that wanting to wet a hook!
I will return. Your friend Mike Daley!
Easy place to spend all your money. They have everything, and the red headed dude or young tall blonde guy (i suck with names) are super helpful.
I was very impressed with my first visit. Employees were very helpful and looked like they enjoyed their jobs, we got a bait bucket with an aerator for shrimp and one of the employees offered to put everything together and have it ready for us at the counter so we could keep looking without having to hold everything, and overall just a great place of business, with great helpful employees
I love this store from amazing employees to excellent fishing merchandise! Calvin at the front is polite and welcoming. He helped me with clothing and fishing accessories. The employees are all knowledgeable and friendly. Absolutely our new favorite fishing store. Worth the drive from Destin!
Awesome shop from my experience there. The bait was great and survived overnight after doing a water exchange. The shop is filled with different items. You definitely should be able to find something you didn’t plan to get until you explored the store. So they have a bit of everything. I ended up getting a kill bag I initially planned to ordered online. So that was a plus they had the item there. I would recommend you check them out.
Great customer service and great people in general. They know what they are talking about!
Bought a 500 dollars worth of reel. I had all my receipts and original box. I used it twice but it broke right away. I know they didn’t bother to contact the Daiwa company because the same day I brought the reel back to them, As I was still in the store shopping I heard everything they were talking sh…. T about me. I spent too much money in this store. But from now on I will never spend a penny here. Go to Half Hitch Guys they are the best.
Literally the best bait shop great service great selection of live, frozen, and artificial baits at good prices worth a little extra drive.
It's the best place in town For live bait! Great staff very Polite & helpful. I tell all my friends to go there & people I met fishing!
Steven was very helpful and took his time to explain fly fishing to me! I'll be back, thank you!
