Encore Nail Bar, Davenport FL

I’m not one to ever write a review, I honestly forget once I leave the establishment but this place really irritated me. So let me start by saying that this is not my usual nail salon. I had a nail emergency and my salon was booked so I came here since I live around the area. WORST DECISION EVER. All I needed was a refill and asked for a black matte color. No designs. Nothing crazy. Just simple. They took me right away, did a good job and were pretty quick. Well the problem was about an hour later I noticed some air bubbles on my nails, didn’t think much of it until I’m washing the dishes and noticed the gel was peeling off. Now it would of been “okay” if it chipped days later. But an hour after paying $50 and most of them started to peel? ! Ridiculous. So bright and early the next day I called and the man on the phone said I can come in whatever time and it would be free of charge. I get there and again they take me right away, the lady did a great job up until I went to leave she told me it was $25. EXCUSE ME? Let me get this straight $50 so you can mess up my nails and $25 so you can fix them 24 hours later? Now I’m not good at math but that’s not adding up. Long story short, I was very adamant about NOT paying since it was THEIR mistake and 3 employees later they said it was fine to not pay. Point is, please read reviews. Good and bad because sometimes something “simple” really isn’t all that simple.

Sadly, I was not pleased with the service I received here. The technician rushed through my pedicure service. I had to tell her twice about steps she missed, as well as basic amenities listed under the service description that she conveniently left out. I was hoping this would be a great salon to become a regular patron as I am new to the area. However, I will not be back.

Every time I go there there's always a different price. They never keep the same price. I usually get short. Let me correct myself. Medium size between short and medium size. Actually she wanted to charge me an extra $5 and I said for what I've been coming here long time I never get charged for it and it's actually between medium short and medium they make your own prices obviously she noticed that I was not happy with the nails. I did not want it to make it seem due to the fact that it's a nail salon and I'm not that kind of person the next time they wanted me to come back in. But I live quarter a few miles away. I told them I'll be back in 2 weeks. She cut my nails so short that I if I wanted them to cut them again. I have to redo the nails all over.was not ha happy and her name was Cindy.gCindy. I called the manager because I didn't want to make a scene and it seems that they don't care. So I do not recommend you to go there at all. They're not a friendly person. Some of them are very friendly but some of them are not

I’ve tried a couple nail salons in the area and this one is by far the best. Cindy does a fantastic job and is very speedy

Hi my name is Stephany, I come here quite often just for gel pedicures and don’t have a specific nail tech that services me, the pedicure are always on point! I never complain but what I will complain about is the customer service I was serviced today Saturday February 26th by Helen she did a great job but next to her servicing another customer was Vicky a man who is gender fluid (Jason lee as a coworker called him) was gossiping in his language and how would I know because ever beautiful BIG black woman that came through the salon door HE would turn and laugh with Helen and I thought I was crazy untill it happened 3 times and he even ran to the back room to laugh. As another coworker who recongnized me asked me if I rapped (stereotyped me) knowing I did nails. This was a horrible racial ignorant experience by these nail tech and was my first time experiencing it at the establishment so that’s to say it’s not the place but the people. So if you’re a black client I would steer clear from Vicky a flamboyant man who works here and clearly isn’t racially coherent and no multicultural awareness. Thank you for coming to my Ted talk. I will no longer be supporting this business.

Came last Thursday and call them on Friday as my color came off. When I call they say I could come in for a redo with no charge, when I went they tried to say it's been one week when it was not then charged me again, in total I spend $75 for a refill. The worst place to get my nails done, I understand they need money but That's not you treat customers, and communication sucks and I got proof when I did my nail I want my refund.

Nail tech had no idea what she was doing. Did not smooth the acrylic before applying gel polish. Within a few days I had 2-3 small chips. After 2 weeks all the nails were lifting. Went to another salon and had them removed. Fungus under two nails. I have had acrylics for a long time and never had this happen. I am sure there are good nail techs there. I just wish I could remember her name.

I have been to their Loughman location 3 times now. First for acrylic full set and two fills. Every employee has been courteous and did a great job on my nails.

Horrible customer service. Will not be going back to this place. I gave them specific details on what I wanted for my girls as soon as I left, they wanted to up sale and put the most expensive thing that have on my girls. I would not recommend this place.

Anna did an amazing job on my nails, I'm from out of town and you know how hard it is to pick a new place to get your nails done, I would recommend it!

Said short nails but gave me medium nails instead dont go to place ever they make your Order wrong

You get what you pay for. Very expensive but if you want a certain look they’ll do it. All I have to do is show “T” a picture of what I want and he does it.

They truly deserve 5 stars. The ladies were super nice and did a really good job. They seated me and my plus one quickly and accepted all our requests with grace. I got a dip manicure and both of us got gel pedicures. I didn’t have any powder stuck to my fingers at the end of it, no bleeding, no scratches from the drill or from filing and it came out well. I can’t speak to designs since I got plain polish but overall, excellent service.

Been here twice and both times my pedicure tech was phenomenal! The price is about right, definitely recommend if you live in Haines city area.
