Enterprise Rent-A-Car, Lake City FL

So me and my family had traveled to Disney world (2 adults 3 small children) and was traveling back on I75 to our home state of Kentucky when our vehicle had a catastrophic failure. Called enterprise and made reservations, everything seemed great. I explained our situation that we needed a vehicle pretty badly due to our situation. Lady on the phone said the rental for 2 days for a standard suv would be right at $400. So I managed to get a ride to this enterprise location which was about 13 miles from where we had broke down. Once there I walked inside and they had in fact received my reservation and was actually getting the suv ready for me. I started the process then was notified there would be a $300 deposit on top of the regular rental. Which was fine until I was notified due to having an out of state license that the full $700 amount would need to be paid using a well known credit card company (capital one etc) which wouldn’t have been an issue but only had $410 left in my card after Disney. So I offered to pay with my debit card and they would not accept that as payment. Offered Apple Pay, cash app, even cash and was told they would not accept those forms of payment. I even tried paying for the rental fee on my debit card then pay the deposit with my credit card. No again. After talking to the guy it was pretty clear there was nothing else he could do. I again explained my situation and asked if there was anything we could do since we was stranded with no vehicle and again was told there was nothing that could be done. I will say the guy I talked to at the enterprise was professional and seemed to want to help. But ended up walking out with no vehicle and ended up getting one down the road at Avis. Avis was MUCH easier to deal with and flexible. Was able to get a vehicle in no time. Paid with my debit card. So if you are from out of state and break down on I75 near Lake City just be prepared to pay a lot more than the advertised price.

Great experience. Staff were very nice as well as professional. They easily got me into a vehicle to meet my needs and went out of their way to ensure that I was able to keep that vehicle for the duration of my insurance rental.

There's no place better than the lake City enterprise. Can't say enough about the friendly customer service. Never have more than a two to three minute wait. They know what they're doing.get you in and out. Never slack.

Scheduled and reserved a rental, yet, they waited until 4 days until our scheduled time to notify us they did not have our rental available. Overbooking and mismanagement.

Where are the car to go to Georgia? And all of my experience with ENTERPRISE which is limited what is very good

Just booked an online rental and the representative called to confirm the appointment. Then advised me it would be a $300 deposit. Website stated it would be $100 for my 1 day rental. That’s something you should let people know ahead of time. I’m on a really tight budget and needed it for an emergency.

Cars are clean staff are very friendly. I look forward to purchasing my next vehicle from enterprise. Clients need to be considerate of closing hours and not show up 10 minutes prior.

If I could give 10 stars I would, these people are so nice and accommodating, very pleasant and respectful, this is the second time renting from enterprise with a awesome experience. I only leave reviews when I’m highly satisfied. Kudos to the staff

Had an excellent experience getting my car rental. Antwan Julks was really helpful in assisting me with the checkout process. Antwan was even nice enough to add a few deodorizers in the car.

Incredible customer service. I found myself quickly needing a rental due to my truck being in the shop and Justin Hanson at Enterprise took care of me. The entire process was less than 10 minutes. Will be back!

I love the enterprise here in lake city fla. They r all professional, experienced, knowledgeable an treats every individual to the upmost kindness an treats everybody as they want to be treated I highly recommend them all Including the ones who clean the vehicles thank u again God bless u always

Very awesome experience with Hue! From check in to return we had a zero issues and everything was hassle-free! Hue is a stellar Enterprise guy! As before, my experience with Enterprise was quick, easy, hassle-free, I’ll definitely be using them in the near future. I’d give more than 5 stars but 5 is the highest they have but I’d say 10 stars from my experiences. Thanks again to everyone at Enterprise, you guys are great. Customer service needs a little work but not too bad for the most part.
