ER at Westlake

Normally dont rate stuff but this is just a warning. Doctors and nurses are great. In and out no problems. The price for 3 stitches and a tetanus shot in a finger tip $4,500 that just seems a little high. Could be wrong. Once again, great team there, just dont be suprised with a costly bill like me.

On December 11th, I woke up to a very sick brother-in-law, my husband had the flu and I assumed Roy had it also. As I was taking him to the doctor, he was having a hard time breathing. I was panicking, so using your Westlake E. R.again, I pulled right in. The front desk provided me with a wheelchair. The check in was swift. The nurses went right to work, Roy was in Afib. The nurse Katie Tamborrino was an Angel. Katie got right to work inserting I.v. ’s, taking temps, b.p. And everything. While I sat there quietly worrying Katie took the time to answer my questions. Katie made phone calls, instructed others, and saved my brother-in-laws life. Katie is a true professional and a great example of what a nurse is kind, caring and compassionate. Katie exceed my expectations. Thank you Katie.

Nurse Carlos did a great job taking care of me at the ER. Can’t speak highly enough about his service and expertise.

Extremely fast. Very capable nurses, doctors and office staff. I was in and out within 30 minutes.

I'm not a big fan or ER, but this one was so amazing. Everyone was so friendly and calm that it helped me remain calm. My daughter was scared going in by the end of it she did not want to leave. Big thank you to the team there. You guys are wonderful and deserve all the praise. Very clean and was seen very quickly. Thorough and informative yet remained super friendly even though it was like midnight, and im sure they were tired. You guys are wonderful, and I can't thank you enough.

I presented myself to Westlake ER after going to an MD now urgent care who gave me antibiotics for a urinary tract infection. Thought all would go away but I felt worse on the antibiotic so I decided after 2 days of that I needed to go to the ER. They not only found the UTI but found my potassium low and I was dehydrated. When I left after IV fluids along with potassium and nausea medicine, I wanted to hug the doctor he seemed to have brought me back to life. Will not go anywhere else in the future

Going to the ER is never something you want to do. However, I came in on Thanksgiving for bronchitis. I walked into this E. R without having to wait. It is so clean and efficient. Dr. Thomas was very warm and knowledgeable. My nurse was very kind and helpful. She was the nurse leader. Tyler took my XR and CT chest, he was also kind andvery good at his job.
Even though the ER was busy, they never were rushed in my care!

This place is very clean. The staff is very attentive and they take very good care of you.

I first came here because it’s so close to my house, and i was only bit by a dog nothing life threatening.i wish i got the name of the woman who actually helped me because she was very sweet and enduring.after she got my information i sat down, i work in customer service so i know what it’s like to be frustrated with work or at ur wits ends due to previous occurrences.however, an emergency clinic should handle emergency’s with care.sitting there for around 30 i see two nurses come by and sit on there phone at the front desk.i wasn’t expecting to be wheeled away to be the only person receiving medical attention but out of the two people sitting in the room- one actively bleeding, i was thinking they would ask me if i needed anything or maybe just give me a simple wrap so i don’t bleed on myself.i’m in no way complaining or writing to make anybody the bad guy but as someone who works with people, that’s not how they should be treated.

Terrible ER gave me medication that made me break out in a rash when I asked for a different prescription they told me I had to come in and get billed twice for my treatment don't go here!

I was very please how much attention they give you as a patient I was feeling very relax because you really trust what the technician was doing thank you so much am glad you are there is a blessing, wish other people get the chance to come to your ER bless all of you

I had the option to go to another place but I am glad I went to the ER at Westlake. I am thankful for the staff and their quick attention as I walked in. Had the pleasure of being taken care of by the RN Kimberly and Dr. Young. Great people and thankful for the service they provided. I'm feeling much better thanks to them. Thank you!

This was the best experience I have had at a local ER in a very long time. The RN’s Kimberly and Kaytlin were both very kind and professional with my daughter. They also worked so efficient together, that my daughter got in right away, got all of her treatments, IV, pain medications quick, labs, diagnostic exams, and results all happened so methodically, the whole process was so quick. While still being attentive to my daughter about with making sure she was comfortable and warm. The CT TECH, Dave was also so awesome, bringing her back into the room from the ER waiting room. Also making sure she was comfortable throughout her CT scan. I am amazed at how well the entire staff worked great together and she felt cared for. Including the front registration guy and the doctor. Best ER experience in Years.

Absolutely one of the best ER experience’s I’ve ever had. My RN’s were Kymberly and Carlos. They treated me with kindness and compassion. And they both explained every step and every medication. They never underestimated my pain. I’ve been to plenty ER’s and hospitals for my various medical issues and this was by far the best, encounter ever.

Carlos our nurse was amazing. Very professional, knowledgeable and gentle with my 80+ mother. He gave her a shot and cleaned her ears. Very patient, no pain. Dr. Grant is also very professional and knowledgeable. Great staff.

Very fast and efficient, everyone was helpful and diligent. The RN Kymberly was great, she took good care of me!

Nurse Kymberly and Joe the tech on duty that day was amazing at promptly addressing my symptoms and advocating my concerns to the staff. From the moment I stepped foot into West lake Er to the moment I left it was a smooth experience. Thank you for taking care of me!
