Escape Manor, Panama City FL

My daughter and her boyfriend who were visiting us around the July 4th weekend, booked a surprise adventure for The Asylum. Along with my husband, it was four of us, and our first time here, three of us had never done an Escape room. We were very excited and greeted in the front lobby by a young man who explained everything to us and how The Asylum is the hardest room to solve and that the percentage (13.9%) hasn't changed in several months. We had a great time figuring out all the puzzles and clues and solved it with only about 3 seconds left to spare. Major adrenaline rush at the end!
When we exited the escape room into the hallway we saw the same guy peeking around the lobby corner and as we passed near him he said "See I told you it was like the Attic"? None of us had been there before so that was very weird. I was still excited and asked him "Does this change the percentage? " He immediately said "NO" He actually looked upset and the way he spoke to us seemed mad. We left a bit puzzled and wondering what's going on? Later I look at reviews and the ads for this particular location and see that everyone who solves a room gets their picture taken with a little chalk board description of their victory. I don't understand what made the guy seem insulted that we beat the room. We had the best time there up until the very end.

Seriously the best escape room around. The owner was amazing and super engaging the entire time. We had a blast for my husband's birthday and will definitely be coming back.

My niece and nephew had the best time figuring out the clues! We escaped with 3 hints from the O. G. - Mr. May's narration. What a wonderful time!

The escape room was very fun! We loved the room itself but the man that runs it made my group of 4 women SOOOO VERY UNCOMFORTABLE! He was very odd acting from the time we walked in the building! We all didn’t even wanna do the room because he was saying things that were inappropriate to us and insulted two of us when we were taking a group photo… one of us didn’t even wanna go in at all she was very worried to go in after he made us feel so uncomfortable! Then when he let us out he looked creepy and just kept staring at us! It was odd we couldn’t wait to get out of the building

We had a blast. We were just one clue away from escaping on the hardest room. It was thoroughly enjoyable and challenging. 10/10

Had an absolute blast. Wanted to do something new for date night and it was one of the best dates to date! We will be back!

It was our first time ever doing an Escape room. This has been on our 9 year old's bucket list for a while. We decided to do it while on vacation here in PCB. So glad we did. The entire experience was great. Nice, cozy place. Clean! The staff was amazing from start to finish. Excellent customer service. Very helpful too. We will definitely be back. Thank you for a fun family experience and sweet memory for our little one.
