Esposito's Italian Restaurant And Bar, Tampa FL

Had the joy of spending Family Dinner for my Birthday Eve at Esposito's. They did not disappoint. The staff was fantastic, the service spot on, the food was delicious. Love the music, the food, all of it. There is a reason they keep getting voted best of Tampa.

I don't write many reviews but my family and I just left dinner and the first thing I had to do when we got home was write this review! I had to rave about our experience at Esposito's.

Paulie greeted us at the door and set the attentive tone for the night. Every staff member we met was amazing, from our host, to our wonderful and funny waiter Frank, the manager who stopped by to check on us and even the bus boy who ran outside after we left to bring us my son’s iPad he forgot at our table.

The food was hands down the best meal we’ve had and enjoyed out in a long time! My boys always tell me I make the best sauce but tonight they literally licked their plates clean! Safe to say “mom’s sauce” is no longer their favorite. In the last few years dinning out has really gone downhill at most places, to the point I rarely even enjoy going out anymore, at least not like we used to.

Esposito's is CLEARLY the exception and my family of 5 had a wonderful experience, their customer service was PHENOMENAL and we all left with full bellies and leftovers.

Thank you for the above and beyond service tonight. Esposito’s is officially our favorite Tampa restaurant and we will be back FOR SURE!

Tortellini soup was amazing, service was phenomenal (Frank), dessert was perfect. Will be back.

Wish i could give 0 stars this place is a joke as much as the owner is. If you have children do not dine here, you’re better off going to olive garden.

My mom and I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. We went during busy hours when there was an hour. Wait for a table but we’re lucky enough to find seats at the bar pretty quickly. The food was great and the bartender was very nice and have some very good recommendations.

Food was decent. Manager Paul was horrific. It was as if he bathed in the hatred of his family’s enemies for the past 1,000 years. Hopefully he gets his act together before staff mutinies.

Eating out is an expensive treat nowadays. The portions and the food is well worth the money. I love the atmosphere it is perfect for a quiet, intimate dinner. Do not expect to bring your noisy babies to this restaurant. It’s just not that kind of place. I believe parents should know before they go if you have a fussy toddler or baby then the Olive Garden is the place for you. If you want a pleasant night out, Esposito’s is a five star restaurant that does not disappoint.

This is not a people person restaurant the owner is extremely rude has no self-confidence in himself treats his staff like animals and is very rude to the patrons I highly doubt he'll last very long the food is mediocre it's very dark drab and it probably comes from the owner who has a very dark side won't ever return

Best Italion in Tampa Bay! Great food, incredible service and excellent atmosphere. Overall great dining experience for a very reasonable price.

I love this place. The food is always on point and they always treat you well. You can't go wrong here.

We have been enjoying this restaurant for about two years, the food is amazing, the atmosphere is authentic, and the staff has always been professional and efficient. I recommend Mamas Sunday feast. We love authentic Italian food, and this is the place!

I have been there a couple of times to try different dishes and really was underwhelmed by the entrees and appetizers. I love Italian food so this was a tremendous disapointment.

Great company, great food. Everything there tastes fantastic. There's no bad dish. Can't wait to go back.

The food was mediocre but the service was absolutely awful. Extremely rude owner. I do not recommend going there.

Do not dine here! The owner is a complete terrible person, yells at infants, can’t control himself, even though he is a full grown man. Apparently, Paul was born as a fully grown man, and he was never a baby who had to cry. Paul’s mother was extremely proud because she had a baby who had a fully functioning brain at nine months old, but apparently it didn’t last long because he thinks he’s going to have a successful business by the berating people. The behavior of Paul the owner has disgusted me, and any chance I get to tell anyone not to go to this Italian restaurant I will. Paul if you’re reading this, treating people with care and respect matters. Having empathy matters!

God forbid you have a child that makes a little bit of noise. Just cause the restaurant is Italian doesn’t mean they’re family oriented.

We eat here often due to consistency of dishes, large portions, incredibly fresh ingredients and their weekend specials!
ASK about their weekend specials.these are unique, creative and incredibly delicious! A few weeks back they had #9 calamari stuffed with a ricotta cheese and spinach filling. WOW. Tonight they had a monstrous piece of pan fried potato crusted Grouper over wildmushroom risotto. My wife and I split that and had leftovers!
Also.if you don't see something you want.ask. I have asked and they have made to order Cavatelli Bolognese and it is heavenly.
