Estero Animal hospital is the veterinary office I chose for my two babies when I moved to Estero for school in August. So far they have been kind and empathetic in caring for my two kiddos. They are a bit on the pricey side of things - but the care I’ve received is great and worth it. Dodger loves the ladies and is excited now to go there anytime we need to! Luna Rose was a bit anxious but she usually warms up quickly once the first visit is over. We see Dr Jen since Dodgie has chronic pancreatitis, and upon reading her bio online I knew that she was the best pick for my kiddo. I’m hoping that they remain our primary care veterinarian while I live here.

We were sad to see Dr Foster leave the clinic in Naples but happy that we can still see her in Estero when needed. We have found her to be an amazing vet, extremely knowledgeable, compassionate, and helping us with our dogs and multiple issues we have come across over the years. She’s willing to take the time to talk with us, listen, and offer her advice as well as research when needed. The staff has been incredible also, and while we still use our clinic in Naples, we travel to Dr Foster for help when needed because of her experience and knowledge. We are very thankful for her and the staff at Estero Animal Hospital!

I was a slacker dog mom and ran low on my fur babies medication. Madison at the front desk went above and beyond to make sure my prescription (anti seizure narcotic) medication was filled at my pharmacy for me while I waited. She’s an awesome asset to this hospital! Thank you Madison Teddys mom

Called to try and get meds for kennel cough for my 12.5 year old cavalier.told they needed to see her.ok fine.next available is 5 days from now… my dog is already on heart meds do you think all this constant coughing fits is good for her? She has trouble breathing as it is.the receptionist said she saw that in her file but was unconcerned and could not help. What is the point of having a relationship with numerous pets for 7 years if they can’t help you when you really need them!? I can’t tell you how hurt and disappointed I am it’s very upsetting

If you have a cat DO NOT SEE AMEILA FOSTER! She miss diagnoses and tries to do the most expensive and unnecessary procedures. I brought my 16 year old cat in for an infection. She wanted to remove the whole flesh area saying its probably cancer without testing it because the cat did not heal within 7 days. Old cats do take longer to heal. She claim to have shave and drain the area and we got the cat home we found it was not the case. I shaved it and drain it. Then brought her to another vet to get a second opinion. I found out my cat has developed an allergy to fleas and the fleas got into a wound that she developed from a flea topical I gave her that she also had an allergy to. We were stuck paying double the vet bills to get the service I should have gotten from my original vets at that location which is Larry Scrabis, Kirk Teschke, and Jen Dewe-Mathews who are great. My cat was dropped off with the promise my cat would see one of these 3 Doctors I trust. To then have my cat being seen by someone who knows dogs better than cats. I tried to Talk with the office manager Nicole about the 2 visits and my concerns about the vet Sheila Foster claiming she did this to my cat that was clearly not done. She politely let me know she did not believe it. Talked to me like she was in the room with this Sheila Foster and saw this being done which I know was not the case. I have picture of the before and after of my cats visit. I also have picture of after I took care of the cat when I cleaned her up. I put them on Google so Nicole could see them. Nothing happened with the bill and now my services are going to be refused in the future for our other cat if I do not pay for the services. I learned the hard way. Never drop your pet off as an emergency to see your normal vets, because if you do your are stuck with the costly service you will have to have done somewhere else.

My dog was 8 weeks old when I first took her to Dr Larry. She just turned 15! Dr Larry is kind, compassonate, he asks questions and listens to your answers. He is all about the well being of your animal. He always provides us with options as to what can be done with our dog's various aging issues. We have since adopted a rescue and she is also a patient of Dr Larry's.
The staff is welcoming, friendly and professional. I will not recommend any other animal hospital EVER!

I brought our 16 year old cat in for an infection wound. I was given a different vet Ameila Foster because our cat was a drop off. She looked at our cat. Amelia Foster claimed shaved the cats bad area and drained the wound, which SHE DID NOT! My daughter looked at it when she got home from work and she did it herself. Ameila Foster gave her antibiotics. We contacted her a 7 days later to get the cat more antibiotics. We made an appointment and brought the cat in. The wound was much smaller. Ameila Foster refuse to give her more antibiotics. She claimed it must be cancerous seen as it didn't heal. She told us she scheduled surgery Friday to cut to cut it out. It will be $1500. I brought our cat to the Sancarlos vet to find out, the cat did not have cancer or a growth wound. The cat still had a smaller infection caused by fleas. That vet gave us an antibiotic and flea control and she healed 100%. I 10000% do not recommend this vet Amelia Foster for a cat health. I was also charged and forced to pay for services We did not receive on our cat. If we did not pay we could not get insulin for our other cat.the office manager Nicole refused to make this right with us.

Followed Dr. Foster from our previous provider. Estero Animal Hospital provides equal if not better service than the previous and we drive an additional 30 minutes to get there. Well worth it. Thanks you!

I brought my elderly cat into this vets office for treatment on an infection she had under her rib cage. She was a drop off. The infection was the size for your palm of your hand. The vet Sheila Foster, looked at it, gave her a shot of antibiotics. I took her home. I bathed the cat, I shaved the area to keep it clean. I drained the puss out of the 3 areas. A week later we dropped her off for a follow up and get her more antibiotics. The area was now the size of a quarter. We were told to pick her up. She will need to come in Friday for surgery. Its will cost $1365. I call to find out what is happening. I was told because the size of the infection is still the same the mass needs to be removed and a sample needs to be tested to see if its cancerous. She also told me in her records she clipped the cat and drained the wound. I knew that was not so because I had to do it after I bathed her. My cat was not given an antibiotic but was offered a liquid which my cat will not take by mouth so I took my cat to the Sancarlos vet for a second opinion. It was found my cat had an flea infestation that caused this wound. The vet said you can tell right away this is not a mass that needs to be removed. Its an infection, and because of my cats age is why it would take a long time to heal. He gave 2 antibiotics by shot and ear save for ear yeast. $407. The wound is almost fully healed. The Estero animal hospital has been calling and expecting payment for there poor service. The also give you the run around of who is truly the Office manager. For days 4 different people have acted as if they are the office manager. They listen and tell me to report it. I do and its another acting manager who will not make this right. The CBC and xtrays were never approved or even talked about being done until we got the bill. We also never got the results or copies to this moment.

This practice was recommended to me by a friend. I have been so impressed with the professionalism of all the staff, but particularly Dr. Jen who has such a calm and reassuring way with my cats (and me!) that I would happily recommend her and this office, to anyone looking for a well equipped, well organized, friendly and knowledgeable veterinarian.

Estero Animal Hospital came highly recommended by a friend, we have since been going to them for over a year! For our silver lab Cash they do a wonderful job making him feel comfortable and treating him for whatever little ailments he might have. He usually suffers from skin sensitivities and they do a wonderful job!

Been going there since 2006. Staff is always friendly. They take great care of all my animals and I trust them fully. I do rescue and I would recommend their services to everybody and that boarding services are really good too. Very knowledgeable staff and the staff has been there for a very long time.

Such a great group of physicians and a great staff, they do get busy so make your appointments in advance. I really appreciate the care they provide and guidance.
