They are fast but for the price and getting a wax, I expect better results. After having been to them a couple years ago and being very pleased with the results and then going back recently, I bought the wax package with about 12 prepaid waxes, before I even got home. I've been 4/5 times now and they told me after the third or fourth wax that all the hairs would in the same cycle and they would be able to get them all. They still don't get them all. They do it so fast, a Brazilian in like 4 mins and it feels like they are just wayyyy to fast and rushing (I know that's how they are trained) but it's not worth it at this point for the price because they NEVER get all the hairs, and I'm not talking about a few left behind, there is A WHOLE BUNCH left behind and I have to go home and tweeze for an hour or so, after I pay good money for them to get removed. After my wax package is up I will not be returning, I will be taking my money elsewhere and getting what a wax is supposed to be, if it keeps going this way. (Yes I've been waxed several times before with great results for weeks but not here so far. Bummer.)

Last 3 visits they screwed up my eyebrows and didnt even compensate me. This time they stuffed up the services I needed.

Ask for KELLY! She is the best specialist here! She is so sweet and engaging! She had a very sweet attitude and she deserves ever tip she receives from any of us! You won’t go wrong with picking her I highly recommend it!

The place was clean. Reception was nice. I picked a highly recommended lady to do my first Brazilian. Never been waxed anywhere before. Watched plenty of you tube videos so I knew what I was in for. I knew it was going to hurt. The room was very clinical, not comforting in the slightest. It felt very rushed. The lady was nice, but there was no “comforting” involved, even knowing it was my first time. Felt like I was just a product on an assembly line to process as quickly as possible. It hurt, real bad, but that’s not why I docked stars, as I know that’s part of it, especially for your first time. Afterwards, I felt like I had to pull the information out of her for aftercare products, which I desperately wanted to help avoid ingrowns. When I left I sat in the parking lot about 30 minutes in shock over how painful the experience was, and how painful my privates still were. I had no idea what it looked like yet, as I was not given a mirror to see. After I got home, I was red, swollen, on fire. I immediately applied the serum. But the worst part, which is the main reason for docking so many stars, there was so much hair left! She told me there would be a couple stragglers. But I had a hole patch of hair above and around my hood, at least 1.5 inches across. And various other places too. Now, I am sorry, but if I am going to put myself through that much torture, then you better do a complete job! Even the videos I watched on YouTube, all of the estheticians were careful to make sure they got all the hair. I was flabbergasted, and very disappointed. I decided to try and tell them my experience to get feedback and maybe a chance to correct it. I tried their survey, which no one contacted me back on. I emailed corporate, which it took them 3 weeks to respond. In that time I decided for my next appt, I would try a different studio to see if the experience was the same. I cancelled my 4 week appt with EWC, and made a 5 week appt with Mama Bare sugaring studio. My hair grows fast so there was lots of growth. I even waited to write this review until I could compare the 2 experiences, thinking maybe it’s just my inexperience why I felt that way. My experience with Mama Bare was less clinical, less rushed, she did a THOROUGH job, zero hair left over. They pull the hair in shorter strips, so while still just as painful, it is pain in smaller, more frequent amounts. The aftercare gel they put on was amazing. Within 10 minutes I had zero pain, and never had pain again the rest of the day. There was no swelling or redness when I got home. And I certainly felt like a more valued client. I am not sure if the difference in the after pain is due to waxing verses sugaring, or in the technique of the 2 different estheticians.
I wanted to love EWC, as I had heard great things, but I will not be going back. Mama Bare however, as a new client for all my future waxings.

I usually go as a walk in due to my hectic schedule & I've had a different person each time.and each time I leave as a satisfied customer.

Love their hours, flexible scheduling and availability for walk ins.

However, wish they had more reasonable prices without being a part of their membership plan.

Very clean environment and very friendly staff! The convenience of booking an appointment through their app is nice also. Kelly is my go-to person here. She’s fantastic and has a great personality! Highly recommend!

My account is locked for 6 months so i’m no longer allowed to make appointments i can only do walk ins.i go in as a walk in at 11 and she says they won’t have anything open until 4 you can imagine how mad i was since i drove 45 minutes for this wax.and i can’t even book the 4 o’clock because MY ACCOUNT IS LOCKED! Which is crazy because a wax doesn’t take longer then 20 minutes on top of that i was never satisfied with spending $50 for a brazilian any way because they NEVER take all the hair off.i won’t be going back i’d rather shave with a $1 razor then go back here.

Great service! Friendly employees, they don't rush you, they take their time with each individual. Quality is definitely important to them. Highly recommend them for anyone who doesn't care to shave or tweeze. My eyebrows are on point

You guys REALLY charged me $21.00 to wax my damn eyebrows plus the tip! Like that is a rip off & so greedy! If I knew you would charge me that I would of NEVER went. Unbelievable! I could of spent my money at Starbucks & bought myself coffee for a few days!

I have been a customer of EWC for almost 9 years, they started small in Ft. Lauderdale and they were wonderful in every way possible. It was amazing seeing them expand and go to the next levels, but lately its nothing but a disappointment. The “specialists” they are hiring recently are below average, they are losing the good ones, the products were really nice, unlike now full of chemicals and “scents”. They force their associates to pitch you their products even if you go twice a week and you decline from the first time. The prices went to the roof. What they don’t understand is that when they first started franchising, they were unique, the hard wax was a big deal. Now; its everywhere. And with the “all natural, organic” move, not sure how EWC will survive! They lost customer service, products, and assets. Really sad.

I've been going to Brittany for almost 2 years and won't go anywhere else. She is amazing with brows and very sweet. The entire staff is always very friendly and accommodating.

Awful receptionists. It was my first time with them. I was scheduled for waxing services with Crystal but not offered service. I arrived 10 minutes late which I tried to inform them during my commute but they didn't pick my call. The receptionist (Diamond) was very rude and not ready to accept me. She said they have a 9 minute cancellation policy which was no where mentioned in the confirmation email or while scheduling on phone. Later she asked my ID to complete my profile. Well, who carries a ID for waxing services? They should mention this in the email right? I tried to show her a scanned copy of my ID on phone but she was very adamant to take me in or reschedule.
Very bad customer service and terrible experience for a first timer. Peeps save yourself time and go elsewhere.

Super disappointed with European Wax Center. I have been a customer for years, purchasing passes, products and tipping. I purchased my most recent pass that was over $400 in November and I was gifted Laser hair removal for the Holidays. I understand there is a policy in place but there needs to be an option to cancel after 30 days. I have no use for this pass that I paid up front for. All I was offered was a credit that I can’t use because I am getting multiple areas with laser. I called 1/7/19 to discuss my options and the manager was at a meeting. I was told she would call me back later, no call. I waited next day for a call but no call came in, so I called, manager told me she would contact corporate and call me back in two days. Guess what.no call. I called 1/15/19 and the manager was not there so I proceeded to leave a message and all of a sudden she was on the line saying she was running errands, yeah I am sure. She said that all she can do is a credit because it’s 30 days later. How a company that has been around for a long time and has multiple locations not have a cancellation policy with a cancellation fee or other options for customers who are over 30 days. Be ware people, watch those 30 days, they will take your money. I have enjoyed my visits when I needed them, even though I have been burned a few times and the products aren’t all that great when it comes to ingrown hair. I am very disgusted that management and corporate can’t refund my money or give other options that involve a cancellation fee or return of a partial refund.
