European Wax Center, Tampa FL

I love EWC and have been to many locations over several years. Today, I got my eyebrows done for the first time in 5-6 months and Widney did an AMAZING job! I’m extremely picky with my eyebrows, and Widney was 4th person I’ve EVER let touch my eyebrows and she did not disappoint. Make sure you request her!

I’ve been going here for a while and have always had such a great experience, but Widney is the absolute best wax specialist I have ever been to! My eyebrows have never looked so good!

I never thought I would be giving 5 stars for the amount of pain lol. It was my first time getting a Brazilian and britney was my waxer, she was amazing, kind, very professional (I was not lol) she let me know what was coming next and delt with my non stop uncomfortable laughing. It hurts lol but it was worth the experience. When I go back I will definitely be making sure she is with me again. =)

I have been a “strut member” for a couple years and enjoy the convenience and consistency of this corporation all over the nation due to lots of traveling (before convid ha!). S Tampa location has the WORST customer service I ever experienced. Communication is so poor and unethical that you leave feeling that they are doing you a huge favor for free even when you tip 25%.

I have been going to this location for 3 years now and today was the last time. I am a loyal customer i always tip very well. I used to live in Tampa but recently moved to ellenton fl, and i was still going to the Tampa location (Neptune St) that's a 50 min drive! Today 5/22/2020 i had an apt at 12: 45 PM i arrived at 12: 50 PM and the front desk girl checked me in and because i was 5 min late she went to go ask the waxer if she could see me today or if she needed me to reschedule because her next apt was at 1: 15 PM that's a 25 min window! Before the waxers response, the manager in the front was already giving me attitude and a hard time, saying that the waxer was not going to have enough time. Do you know how many times i have gotten there on time and they had to make me wait in the lobby for at least 10 more minutes, and i have never complained about it. This manager was very rude, no customer service what's so ever, my dogs have better manners than her. I drove 50 min for nothing. To my understanding the late policy was 9 minutes, apparently they changed it to 5 minutes now, who knew? Never got an email or tex or even a courtesy phone call or voice mail letting me know that the policy had change. After i explained where i was driving from she gave me the nastiest attitude and with a smirk she asked me if i wanted to reschedule my apt, i said no because i was very upset. When i got out of there i called another European wax center and asked for their late policy, they said it was 9 minutes, so i immediately changed centers. I am very disappointment in this center the quality of service has gone down tremendously, every time i go, there are different employees no one can keep a job there customer service is horrible wax jobs not so great. I am giving it a star because if not it won't let me post this review. They really don't care about their customers especially the hispanics ones. I will never step foot in that place again. They lost my loyalty and money.

Brianna R is the best! I was terrified of waxing after various horrible experiences until I met Brianna R at EWC South Tampa. She makes me feel comfortable and is quick and efficient. I am now a regular thanks to her. My appointments with her feel more like catching up with a friend so I barely notice the waxing. Highly recommend!

This is by far the cleanest European Wax Center that I’ve visited. The lady who checked me in at the front who happened to be the manager was super friendly, well put together and very informative. I can’t remember the name of my wax specialist but she was so thorough and sweet, took her time explaining to me the steps and taught me about the upkeep between waxes. This place is super professional. Who knew there was so much more to waxing. I bought the package and will be coming back!

First of all, I just want to say my waxing experience here was awesome! I definitely recommend. But the reason I am writing this is because one of your employees was so sweet and so kind! I didn’t get her name unfortunately, but if someone knows her name then I’d love to thank her personally. Yesterday a man had followed me through the parking lot from the time I was walking in to the center and he was waiting for me when I got done! He was yelling at me telling me to “come here” and saying “mmmm you look so good” and I just felt uncomfortable. I asked the girls at the front desk to just watch me get to my car, but one of the girls insisted on walking me to my car and not only did she walk me to my car, but when the guy saw her walk away he started yelling at me again and this girl turned around and yelled at him telling him to leave me alone. So I just want to say THANK YOU to that girl. She helped me feel safe. THANK YOU!

I visited today here for full arms waxing and service was really poor And other european center in carrolwood was really good and i would recommend that center.

Best experience ever!

My friend told me EXC changed her life but I never truly believed her. Now after getting my first wax at this location I’m thrilled! This was the best wax experience (me and my friend are Brazilians) and this was far the best Brazilian I ever got. Reading the reviews made me book with Jacqueline - and I’m glad I did. She’s AWESOME and made me feel super comfortable <3

This review is to specifically call out Jackie at the South Tampa location. She is awesome! I would highly recommend her. On my third visit to EWC I was a little nervous because my second visit here I had a really bad experience with a slow and extremely painful waxer.
I normally get a Brazilian. She is super fast and knows how to get the job done quickly without feeling ANY pain. I normally don't leave reviews but I had to leave one for her because she did such an excellent job! She changed my mind about Brazilians and if it weren't for her I probably would have never done another one again!

I had a wonderful experience at European wax center. Jessi is excellent! She is professional, kind, and thorough. She made me feel comfortable every step of the way. I can tell she cares and wants her clients to have the best experience possible. She’s filled with positive energy and has a great attitude! Ask for Jessi if you want to see the best!

I had a bunch of misses here til I got Jessica p. (Goes by jessi on their website) I really wanted thicker eyebrows and every time I see her shes super diligent and doesnt pressure me to come in sooner since they are taking a while to grow back they are actually starting to fill out! And get somewhere I hope she never leaves. The price and facility and mid range so I'll stop going if jessi leaves but until then this is my go to spot during lunch since appointments are punctual.

I was nervous and brand new to waxing but Jessi really took the time to explain everything out to me and make me feel comfortable. She also taught me about different products to maximize my results. If you've been thinking about trying out waxing definitely come here and ask for Jessi, you'll never go anywhere else! Excellent results, excellent service!

Every experience I have at EWC exceeds my expectations, I go to Jacqui and she is wonderful. 10/10 would recommend EWC!
