Everglades Safari Park reviews
13Pay the extra $30 or whatever it cost. The bigger the boat the less exciting the experience. Felt like the tour guide was eager to get back.
More information should be given at the entrance of the park about the tours and their schedule.
This was a fun excursion to take in the Miami area. The airboats are noisy, but they provide earplugs. This is a national park.
Went on an airboat ride to see some Gators and it was pretty awesome. Tour guide gave great information and was saw a few gator despite the chilly weather. ESP provided ear plus for boat ride and afterwards saw a short gator show and there was another area to see Gators and Crocs.
***Very important tip: if you buy your ticket online or via Groupon make sure to screenshot your tickets (with barcode) before you get there, there is no wifi and service is nonexistent out there.
Nice afternoon spent at Everglades safari park, everyone was very friendly. The airboats are spacious, clean and the guide was knowledgeable without the know it all attitude. There was a quaint alligator show included with admission, only reason I’m giving 3 stars is because some of the trails/buildings were rundown and closed off.other than that
We absolutely loved this alligator tour, show, and natural trail. The alligators were out even before we left the dock. Not to mention one alligator took residence at one of the docks, so you saw the alligator up close.
The have a restaurant on site (they offer gator bites, frog legs, key lime pie, etc). The tour was with a very knowledgeable tour guide that knew where the gators were and spotted out gators moving through the water.
After the tour, we came back to an alligator show where they brought out a ball python snake for show and a baby alligator (Snappy) for pictures. After the show, your free to walk the nature trails and observe the wildlife in its habitat.
We really liked this tour, as a few weeks back we did a private tour and saw maybe 1-2 gators in a hours time. We saw that many before we left the dock.
Please be mindful the workers depend on tips and go above and beyond.
I visited here with my friend while on vacation. We found this place on Groupon. The boat ride was pretty cool and we got to see an momma alligator and her nest. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to see any others. I learned that they are mostly out when it’s cooler which is early morning in summer or in the winter months. We did get to see alligators in the actual park area. We were told that they would soon be getting rid of all their alligators as they are no longer allowed to be kept there. We got a see a nice show with 3 alligators before walking around. People were allowed to get a picture with a baby alligator that was held by staff. Overall, good experience.
Very nice, educational. Took about an hour for the airboat ride. Beautiful photo ops! Saw alligators and birds in their natural home.
They were very nice, very interesting. You'll have absolutely no cell reception on Verizon T-Mobile or Metro or Sprint. You may have service if you have AT&t you may have one bar. The food is average, the birds will definitely try to take your food, however they are also very fun to play with if you have food, if you throw a french fry in the air the wild birds will definitely fly and catch it. Interesting sight to see.
I found a great deal to this place on Groupon, it was fun and informative. Be prepared to wear a mask, and say hi to 'stumpy'. They had limited but good food, a friendly staff. Fun Airboat ride, and cool animal show. For the price you can't beat it
Excellent airboat ride through the Everglades! Saw lots of wild life & multiple alligators in their natural habitat!
We had a great experience and even though the weather was cold and wet, we still spotted an alligator! It was so close to our boat we could almost touch it.
Staff was extremely rude, facilities were filthy, and the ride was underwhelming we understood not seeing alligators due to the heat but the guide didn’t show us anything else one of the passengers who was a local actually had to start stating facts teaching and showing the rest of the passengers stuff.
