Everglades Wildlife Management Area - Water Conservation Area 2B reviews
26 This is a very accessible area, minutes away from Sawgrass Mills, yet, many people have never seen it.
Great place for you to see some aligators, a perfect sunset or just bike on a levee that separates the Everglades from civilization.
Highly recommend, easy access through Markham Park in Sunrise or through Atlantic Blvd in Coral Springs.
Where I stopped off was just to do water quality sampling. It was not a recreational area. A good pull over, but lots of trash.
Nothing beats a romantic walk for two while taking in the Sunset. Those fishing, flying drones and playing the guitar with a group of friends may disagree, but we love going there at the end of a busy day.
Cool place to stretch the legs and see some cool wildlife. There is a restroom also and picninc tables. Plenty of infor.ation posted on the voardwalk to help you ide tify wjat you are seeing. Its HOT in the summer and beautiful in fall and winter!
I love Alligator Alley. Cute stop and you never know what you will see when you stop! If you have a few minutes or a couple hours, definetly worth a stop at any of the pull offs!
Did an airboat ride with ride the wind private airboat charters the best you get to drive the Airboat
The area I went to which was the boat launch closest to I-595 on the west side of US 27 headed south is closed.
This is a good place for sports where people fish, ride a bike, jog and walk. Plenty of space for those seeking solitude. I recommend this place.
Excellent place to wildlife in there own Habitat. Turtles, Dear, Snakes, Raccoons wild Hogs, Ducks, Hawks, Alligators and more.
Great view for the sun down perfect to take some pictures or do activities like running or bike.
They have bathrooms with air conditioning and they have vending machines with lots of choices great rest stop
Watch out looks like someone has started breaking car windows out to rob cars broken glass in parking lot
Great place for fishing. Although you will need a boat of you want the full experience. Not crowded. Only down side is someone has been dumping trash and debris.
Nice place to fish. Different species for fish there's picnic table's with a bbq grill to cook out and for the avid boaters there's boat ramp to launch the boat.
Waste of land! With home prices exploding here in South Florida due to limited land availability, it's time to open up parts on this area close to the cities. We need to open up this land for affordable housing & to single family eco-friendly homes for the middle class.
Beautiful drive up State Road 27 north. Driving through the eastern edge of the Everglades is quiet and peaceful. We were headed into a bad section of approaching rain. Drove through it and out again into sunshine. Typical Florida. In Palm Beach starts the sugar cane fields and sod fields. A lovely day trip.
Great experience. Didn't cost a lot at all. Friendly business. And you get to view animals and hold a baby gator after!
This was the most amazing place to ride a bicycle with the entire family. We had such an amazing views of birds, turtles and even saw some alligators. Everyone who passed us checked on us. We plan to return again soon.
So quiet, except for the birds! The dock in the picture was just off an unmarked trail on Birdon Rd, at about 3.4 miles north of the highway. A tenth of a mile past a white mailbox on the right, there's a driveway - with a couch, unless someone has removed it! The trail is straight ahead, perpendicular to Birdon. Not easy to see, but well worth the walk!
