Excel Medical Imaging, New Port Richey FL

Had a brain mri 16 d! Ays ago was told i could pick up the report and disk in 24 hours. Went back after 48 hours and they had the disk but no report told me come back tommorrow finally got a call back after 5 promisef call backs tbat never came was told they would send them durectly to my dr in time fir ny appointment never happened dr had to cancel cause no report. Went back today was told rbey would have them in a couple of hours there closed now still no call or report. Don.t use this facility if you value your life cause they certsinly din.twent back still no report have gone back everyday since still nothing. They said i shouldn.t have been allowed to get the test done the week ghey did it because thet were switching there computer system

BEWARE if they ask for any kind of ID cards license, insurance and so on MAKE SURE IT IS RETURNED my husband gave them his license and insurance Medicare everything was returned but his licenses have called and nothing

Went for a CT scan this morning had the pleasure of having Mary preform the procedure all Went extremely well never felt the iv being installed

Called last week so I could ask questions about my test. Pamela immediately put me at ease ("easiest test you'll ever have"). She explained every detail and made sure I didn't have any other questions. When I got there, front desk was kind and helpful. The process for test was exactly what Pamela told me it would be. She was friendly, kind and made sure I was comfortable. Would go here again without hesitation.

I have had annual pet scans for years and, in my opinion, Excel is the best imaging center that I have been to. The employees are kind, professional and I have never had to wait beyond my appointment time.
My experience with the PET Scans at Excel has been a positive one. Pamela, the imaging technician, is excellent and puts me at ease with the procedure which, by the way, is shorter in duration than PET Scans at other imaging centers that I have been to.
I highly recommend Excel Medical Imaging.

Let me start by saying that Carol is absolutely amazing and she is the only reason for this 5 star review. I called regarding an authorization due to it having been a couple of days. Come to find out the correct process was not followed so it had never been processed correctly in order for Carol to request it. She got it taken care of while we were on the phone and got my husband an appointment the next day. The young girl at the reception desk was very nice also and I would also give her a good review. Now, Maria at the front desk is a totally different story. She needs to learn some customer service and listening skills. Because of her incompetence on the day my husband came in it caused me having to make a trip back up there the next day.

The lady answering the phone and calling people back is very rude. She called me a liar when I told her what was going on with me.
She didn’t tell me her name. But that’s poor customer service. I will no longer be coming back to excel imaging

I went in for some ultrasound and x rays, I had a pleasant experience, I was in and out quickly, everyone was polite, I would recommend to anyone!

Waiting on disk of x ray for over 1 hrs others go there imaging done a disk after me before I got disk no value of our time

No compassion or willingness to help recover payment of $1400 after having paid them directly and the authorization arrived the next day from the Health Care company. They could have submitted for reimbursement but refused since they already had the money. Terrible attitude and no way to treat seniors.

Excel imaging in itself is an excellent place to get all your imaging needs and more. However, why in the name of everything sane, would you hire a groundskeeper that ONLY uses a blower to clean the parking lot between the hours of midnight and 3 am. This is EVERY SINGLE TIME this service comes to the property after hours. There Is nothing more ignorant, unacceptable, and absurd than having my four children woken up by the sound of machinery and having to wake up several hours later for school. This is so inconsiderate to the residents around this establishment. Again, the imaging staff have always been welcoming, kind and thorough, but there nothing more in life I would like right now other than to get a full nights rest with my 4 children all of school age. Could we perhaps have a word with your groundskeeper? Thanks in advance. Also, when I took the pic, he looked over, had a good laugh and rev’d up the blower and walked closer to the street. Highly disrespectful and disappointing.

Alicia at the front desk is always welcoming and friendly. She's a delight to see even when I dont feel well, she's patient and kind. She should get a raise just for being so sweet!

I had the pleasure of speaking with Carol today who was extremely helpful in getting my husband's film read in "Stat" fashion. I am so very thankful for the professionalism and empathy she displayed. Excell image is our go to for our radiology needs and now even more so!

I am appalled no one wears a name tag. My friend’s appointment was at 10: 30am. It’s 12: 35pm. According to the rude blonde girl and man in striped shirt told me she was next and it will be another 20 minutes! They walked away so fast I didn’t have a chance to ask the name of person in charge. Horrible!

This place is nothing short of amazing. I've been coming here for years even though I live close to Spring Hill. (about 30 min away)
I've tried other places but Excel always has been my favorite. Clean, staff is efficient, knowledgeable and they just don't monkey around.
Definately give them a try. I promise you won't go anywhere else.
