Please stay away from this company. This is one of the worst experiences I have had. The communication was very poor throughout the stay between the company and the exchange students families. When I signed on initially, I told them I only wanted to commit to six months, but they did not communicate that family. I had to do all the communicating to the family myself, which made it difficult because they became quite upset knowing their child would have to find another host family. The student, while living with us, destroyed several household items, but I let that go. When he was out selling coupons for football, he placed my beautiful specialized mountain bike behind the tires of a car. The owner backed up and ran over my bike and it was irreparable. I submitted a claim and emailed my contact numerous times and they did not respond at all. They are very eager to place students, but once they do, the host family and the student have to fend for themselves I am out a lot of money, and the loss of my very favorite bike that was very meaningful to me. Stay away from this company.
