Extra Space Storage, St. Petersburg FL

Update: I went in to Extra Space Storage on 12-13-2023 because my storage unit had suddenly gone up in price by an amount I didn't think was fair and was greeted by friendly staff who worked out a better price for me but said it would have to be approved by the manager and he would call me the next day. I said ok and thanked them. So today as promised the manager called me and told me I was approved for the amount we had agreed on. Outstanding service. I fully recommend this location and the staff.

Was pleasantly surprised when I was called in to sign my lease with Extra Storage today with Bill who walked me thru the process and saved me money at the same time. I highly recommend this location and appreciate Bill's dedication and professionalism.

Extra space is a good place to store your belongings. They are always so helpful and polite. I have two spaces in two different states.

Bill was efficient and friendly. He got me in and out in less than 20 minutes with a quick tour of the unit. Really easy experience!

The place is the location. The manager there however is not. Very rude, likes to threaten people with breach of lease, and keeps the guest & paying customers restrooms under lock and key. You have to beg to get anything or any help. Poor management at this location. District mgr will be contacted.

William was very friendly, efficient and helpful with assisting me with the ideal storage unit.

Bill was exceptional! We completed a transfer from 5 x 10 to 10 x 10 with no issues. Saved me money and got a bigger unit! Thanks again Bill.

Jose was extremely helpful and made what could have been a very stressful situation, one that we conquered with ease due to his assistance!

The bldg is clean. The moving carts + elevators made everything so easy. Customer service was really friendly and helpful. My only complaint is we couldn’t actually bring our truck into the parking lot due to the layout of the gate and landscaping. There’s not enough space for turning radius. So we had to do our unload all the way from outside the parking lot. It worked out with the help of the carts but it definitely made for a lot more labor.

This place is very clean and the staff are terrific! Bill helped me transfer me to another unit and even helped me save a little money in the process!

Jose and Bill were extremely helpful. The tour was well done and they asked all the correct questions. They offered constructive feedback and were not pushy on the sales end.

Every interaction with the team at Extra Space Storage in St. Petersburg FL (7220 4th St. North) has been amazing. When I first needed a storage unit the day after my house flooded from Hurricane Idalia, the entire experience was a super positive one - when I desperately needed some compassion and kindness! We found the facility clean and easy to use - an abundance of carts to help us quickly move our things into storage. When I recently visited the storage unit and went to the office with a few questions about extending our use of the unit, all of my questions were answered quickly and clearly. Extra Space Storage gets an A+ for their customer service and clean/easy facility!
