For the money they charge the insurance companies and the cash they charge the service is horrible. It's like a meat market. And the lady working up front in lobby checking in people is nice but on other side is the Aran doc visits the women in front desk is so rude. On either side they have tons of human cattle their waiting and no coffee machine. You feel so horrible here like give me your money and hurry up and go.

What a terribly organized "professional" group. The office visit was fine and I was treated very well. But, the office continually lost (me) in their system! In November 2022 I was tested and given a cataract surgery date of Jan 2023. I check the first week of Jan and I was not in the system. I went through the process again and given a surgery date of Februral 6. Checking in 6 days prior, after repeated calls, I was finally told "We're sorry but we moved the date to March 6 2023. Checking in yesterday the 23rd of February I was told. "oh yes you have pre op procedure TOMORROW! " This is nuts! I have so many misgivings about going in for the scheduled procedure but I must get back to work!

I'm a new patient who has been trying to see a doctor there since July this year & has been canceled & rescheduled 5 five times only through text messages no phone calls & no reasons. This is the worst I have ever experienced in my lifetime in a doctor's office. I requested to speak to management twice, no one ever returned my calls. This is unacceptable.

My experience was horrible. I showed up to a verified by your office appt.at your Sunrise office Sept. 19,2022. I was given an application to fill out and after I turned it in, was informed no one could see me because of some type of system error. Mind you, I may have had a detached retina and had my son take off a day of work to bring me, in case I had my eyes dilated, etc, No one cared. No one called to apologize. No make up appts.were given. Nothing, here I am holding to verify another appt. I have been on hold for 23 minutes and this obnoxious male keeps lying and saying that someone will be with me in a few minutes. You are the poorest excuse for a doctors' office I have ever experienced.

Being waiting since 12: 30 pm for a 5 minutes surgery. Is 3: 00pm and my mom still waiting in the waiting room. Horrible! Find another clinic if you dont want to spent your entire day here!

The worst. Don’t trust your eyes to them! They run the office like an General Motors assembly line. Keeping 20 - 30 patients in various rooms in the complex at one time. That was the first red flag. No one answers any phones at any of their offices. Number two red flag of many to come.

First of all I was at ARAN EYE Institute (one of several names they go under). I was there for double vision, Diplopia. As soon as they saw the Optom wrote cataract with the double vision diagnosis, cha-ching! All attention was forever placed on catarat surgery for both eyes. Well, they did the wrong eye first. That was a problem I had to deal with throughout the entire 3 months. You see ARAN contracts out the clerical end of the business. Everything except the doctors are on a separate contract. Nice huh? As a result, the doctors really have no authority over what happens- or care. Lacking responsibility the doctors use it to their advantage throwing their hands up in the end. They all know it too. It’s a game to them. Lacks integrety

Anyway, they said the diplopia would clear up later. 3 months I am still seeing double. I tell the doctor Febrega on my exit exam. Dr Fabrega freaks out explaining now HE has a problem he has to deal with. Then he writes an order for a MRI, STAT because he thinks its a tumor in my head pressing on it. Also wants to see me in a month.

I then begin to schedule appointments with the MRI office 3 times over the month. Each week called back and cancelled because Dr Fabrega failed to send what they calll ”clinicals” over to the MRI office so the insurance can be approved. Also each week scheduling and cancelling a ride to the MRI appoint. The MRI office called the good Doctor Fabrega at ARAN, three times to request clinical. I been trying to reach anyone there and my Retinologist even called to no avail. So I am finished dealing with them.

There is nobody to complain to and know body cares.

This post is a good and bad review. 1st, the Dr.and nurses are great. Kind and understanding. Now as for the staff, the front receptionist, she seems to have an additude. I feel like I am being interigrated because I was late. Your call center rescheduled me for 1pm. After waiting 45 min, the receptionist then tells me that the Dr. Won't do shots in the afternoon. So why was I sent? I did what your office told me to do. I just wasted my time today.

Zero stars. Wow. The worst place ever! My Dad was told to be there at 9 am for surgery. They told him from time of drop off till the surgery is done it should be 4-5 hrs. Asked my dad if that was true, nope it was a lie.
I coudn't get through to anyone on the phone so I drove back to check on him. They asked if someone called me, I said no. I had to come back to check on him because nobody answers the phone here. She then also told me it takes 4-5 hrs from time of drop off. Well it's now 4pm and he's still in the back. She also told me the Dr.is scheduled for 30 plus surgeries. Wth!? The procedure is 5 minutes. But yet my 77 yr old father along with many many other elderly people, had to spend the whole day there. I haven't even gotten to his side of the story yet. I was conversing with another women who brought her mom in. They told her to be there at 7: 30 a.m. Poor lady didn't even get taken to the back till 12: 30p.m. Are you kidding me! This is absolutely ridiculous. They pack in all these poor, elderly people here and schedule tons of appointments while they all have to sit here and wait the whole day. This is abuse!
My Father was finally done at 4: 45 p.m.
My Father told me they didnt even take him to a room till 11 a.m. Which was just so the Dr.could try and upsell him a better lens before his surgery. $950 sales pitch. In the mean time ny dad hadnt eaten and he's a diabetic. He was starting to feel it and went and asked one of the techs to call his daughter, which they didn't. He told them he's a diabetic, which btw they should know,
you fill out enough damn paperwork with your health history and for what! The tech told him, oh no is ok I'll get a nurse. Well guess how long the nurse took to come? 20 minutes, he could've passed out by then. This is completely and utterly unacceptable. So after the Dr. Gave his sales pitch, they put him back out in the front office waiting area and didn't actually bring him to start the surgery until 2 p.m. Or so. If you have to take your loved ones here, DON'T!
My dad says they have no compassion for anyone there. You've been warned.

This place is unbelievable. If There was an option for a zero score I would select it. They scheduled my father for a 10: 45am surgery appointment and the doctor did not see him until 6: 30pm. He is over 70 years old and was kept hungry from 11: 59pm the previous day. One of the nurses stated that although the 1st surgery was scheduled for 7am the physician didnt show up until 11am. Is this really the way you would treat your own family member? Stay clear of this place.

Worse service ever. Had a surgery scheduled (for dad) and was canceled due to 'unactived insurance' which was not the case. After multiple emails and phone calls nobody had the decency to reschedule. Insurance got involved, sent faxes, emails, and a letter. Still they were unable to provide a new surgery date. From the first appointment to surgery date, the process took about 6 months. And when my dad was almost there, they canceled 2 days prior surgery date. They are disorganized, incompetent, and almost impossible to get anyone on the phone who can help. If you go to the Sunrise office, they are close for no apparent reason or notice. Stay away, save yourself months of headaches. I ended up using another provider and within 6 weeks, my dad had his surgery.

Very poor, first off no one answers the appointment line, this is the 2nd review that I poorly rate Aran Eye Associates because we were never notified that they cancelled her appt when my mother went to Sunrise and the Galleria Mall and they both looked up the appt for today and she was on the schedule. No one notified us that it was cancelled, she went there today and lost most of her morning for nothing. She is not a well person to be messing with someone who is in need of assistance like that. I don't appreciate that you guys never called to cancelled or even a text message. NOT GOOD VERY POORLY DONE and NOT PROFESSIONAL

I’ve been taking my elderly father to the Miramar office to his appointments since 2020 because he stopped driving. It’s extremely difficult to call and get someone on the phone to make an appointment or to change an appointment. I’ve been to the website to see if I can make an appointment and it’s not available. I tried making the appointment while in the office after my father was seen by doctor and the person at front desk said she’ll call me back to make appointment but never received a call. The way this office works is they assign you an appointment at whatever date/time they want to and the patient has to accept it and adjust to it. The past two appointments they sent me a notification to my cell phone just a few days notice of an appointment we didn’t know we had. I work and I have a family to take care of and I can’t just adjust things last minute. This business is very disorganized and the staff at the front desk are mostly rude to the patients and companions. Very disappointing! I do not recommend this business.
