Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Jacksonville Beach reviews
18The receptionist was nice. Unfortunately, everything is outdated and you see dust everywhere. The wall is so thin, you can hear someone sneezing next door. The cleaning staffs were so loud, they woke me up. They screamed at each other and cleaning with a loud music. The breakfast is for a minimalist.
Decent hotel for the price and location. Ebony, Sweet tea, and Cynthia (Cafe) provided great service. Beach is right across the street.
Nice location. Very friendly staff. Beds are moderately comfortable. Internet is lacking a bit on the 3rd floor.
This is a go to spot for us on Jax-Beach, location is great easy access to beach and eateries. Price is always comprable staff is courteous and rooms and amenities are good.
They charge for parking lots. That's not included with room. Clean place close to beach
Worst hotel ever! The front desk checked me into an occupied room TWICE and told me to “try again” when my key didn’t work and could hear people in the room. My 3rd room door handle was broken. Still unable to leave the room unless yanking on the door. No refund was given. Will NEVER stay here again.
Key cards would stop working regularly, had to replace them twice a day. Hotel caught on fire and my son was not allowed back in the room for several hours while I was at work. Paid for 4 days with a surprise extra $10 a day for parking, checked out on day 3 after key cards stopped working again and drove the 3 hours home after work and was still charged for an additional day of parking. Called management about the awful stay and extra charge, can only leave a message and no one has gotten back to me yet. Going on a week now. Pay the extra amount to go to another hotel.
Ebony at the front desk was a rock star! She had great customer service! All staff was polite and helpful! The location of this hotel was great! Many walkable restaurants!
Breakfast is very good. Price is reasonable. Very close to the beach. Maid service was not great because not enough towels and did not vaccuum. Free cookies in the lobby. They upgraded me to a suite!
Money doesn't always equal a better hotel experience. Overall the staff was good. But the rooms felt outdated and there's a wetness to the carpet, probably because of the fridge leaking out. I think each room should be detailed because I see dust and stain lamp shades. (Fine if this was a motel) The tub drains slow and the breakfast didn't make up for it. The location is great.
Horrible stay there! While we were taking my mom to Mayo Hospital, the maid service came in to clean our room. They left the door open & never cleaned our room. All of our things were in the room. Anyone could have come into our room. Thankfully nothing was stolen. They comped us for 3 nights. My mother was furious & rightfully so. Won't be staying there again! Stay there at your own expense!
Room was clean and nice. Front desk was helpful, breakfast was good, there was always coffee available and it's a stones throw from a public beach. Can't go wrong with that even on a business trip!
Only issue I had being there for 10 days (for work) was the fridge in the room was way to damn small ️.
Big thanks to Maygan. She found a room for me right away for early check in. The room is okay, the property is close to the beach and good complimentary breakfast.
I booked the whirlpool suite due to recent back injections and the need to get some relief from the pain. The whirlpool spa was just an oversized bathtub because it didn't work. I asked for a manager and nobody got back to me. I'm so disappointed that I payed all this money for a service that didn't work. And by the reviews, it wasn't the first time. Very disappointed!
It was okay we had trouble getting our room serviced they never put us on the roster so I had to ask every other day
Surprised by the positive feedback of the friendly staff. That was not my experience. 15 minutes before my check in time they canceled my reservation and when I called they tried to move me to a different hotel and charge me $250 more than what I had booked my room originally for. They were not helpful and just told me there was nothing they could do.
Great location, very pleasant people working there. We had an excellent stay!

Very upsetting that an older white couple came in and got charged $349. Then an African American came in and was charged $ 180 a night. I was standing in the lobby and heard all this.
