Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Key West

The room was dark and smelling of mold. The front desk service was not functioning as reservation of the shuttle bus was ignored and the staff made it my task to seek other transportation to and from the city center. The breakfast was tacky and not environmental responsible by using paper and plastic for everything. The breakfast area was not clean at all. The pool was small and noicy and enclosed. The parking was good and free but trees around the parking area stained my car due to a little rain shower.

Very convenient if you are driving to Key West with ample parking and a free shuttle bus into town.
Great swimming pool for families and a good breakfast selection included in the price.
The only thing that was less than great was the size of the double beds. We stayed in a family room with 2 doubles but they were very small that meant it was a bit too cosy for the Florida heat! Generally the room was reasonable but just a little too snug.

In the morning, the flies do not allow you to have breakfast, and in the evening, cockroaches interfere with sitting by the pool. The rooms are clean without cockroaches, the staff is polite.

The location is close to the center, however the rooms are small and really dark, the soundproofing is not exceptional but what makes the most noise are the bathroom vents.
Breakfast is classic for a Fairfield and has the advantage of being taken outside.

The rooms are small and functional, and the water pressure in the shower is quite weak.
The pool is in the middle of the building.
Breakfast is a light meal.
Even so, it is expensive.

I regret that I did not have the opportunity to use the swimming pool. Unfortunately, it is open until 6 pm or so, and after a day of exploring the city, you can't cool down.
The hotel is next to the road and I chose it because it is the cheapest option when visiting Kay West.
Despite this, it is located far from the center.
Plus free parking.

2 roaches in the room and I suspect the bites I woke up with each morning that are covering my arms and legs are bedbugs. My wife and I spent over a $1000 for 4 nights to come home scratching like crazy. You would think they would properly exterminate the rooms. I am a gold elite Marriott member and will never use this place again.

I do not know how this is considered a Marriot. It is the worst one I have ever stayed in. The room was not cleaned. The room had bedbugs. The front desk and shovel social service were rude and inattentive. They ruined our yeah, 10th anniversary.

Very small room for the price (it was high for one night). Rooms were not very clean. There were cockroaches roaming around (a couple). There was dust in the rooms as well. One good thing was the breakfast. Good quality and quantity of items. Location was okay, I would prefer somewhere near the beaches next time around.

Already steep prices, the hotel is motel style. Everything is no longer brand new. Nice pool, but a fitness room that disregards all hygiene regulations and urgently needs to be overhauled. The hourly shuttle bus into town is useful. The breakfast is not a revelation.

We stayed here at the end of May and it was excellent. Rooms and amenities were clean, staff was warm and friendly. The shuttle was an excellent resource. The pool area was spectacular. A little pricey sure, but Key West is like that. Overall a five star experience at a three star price.

We had a great vacation. They offer a shuttle every hour to and back from downtown. We enjoyed not staying downtown with all the crowds. The hotel was beautiful. Great service people at the desk helped us get set to take a few tours.we were able to check in early because our flight was an early flight. The pool is amazing. They offer breakfast every morning. I would recommend staying here every time. Me and my husband and I will for sure be coming back to stay here.it's just a very stress free vacation. We didn't have to worry about parking or transportation. They offer a ride to the beach with chairs and umbrella all day. The driver was super amazing and stopped and had a gas station so we could get drinks to take with us. Just a wonderful hotel, and they have everything you need. We have several friends well be recommended to stay here. I'm super happy we found this place.

Good place, if you don't have many pretensions in the Florida Keys if you plan to watch TV, forget it

This was the worst experience of my life. Do not stay in this hotel. The front desk was so rude and disrespectful. And the rooms are old and dirty. Also, don’t expect to get a room when you check in after 3–we had to wait until 5pm. They yelled at my mom. Cannot recommend at all. Stay away. I’ve stayed in roadside motels better than this. Unbelievable.

Don’t be guided by the photos shown on the website, it is much older. However, it has a good location, it is a few minutes from the town.
Breakfast was the same every day, scrambled eggs, ham, waffles, bread, milk, yogurt, cereal, coffee.
You have a 2x1 for drinks at the bar per day.
If you want your room cleaned, you have to request it.

We have just left this property. After reading some of the recent reviews I thought we we had made a mistake. How wrong could we be. The service was fantastic, the rooms were clean and comfortable. Nice and big walk-in shower. The pool was nice, only 5ft deep so nice for relaxing in the sun. Plenty of Sun loungers and some gazebo style if you need some shade. Great pool bar, basic breakfast but better than usual. I particularly enjoyed the sausage muffin sandwiches. They have every juice you can think of and cartons of milk including chocolate milk. Good choice of cereal. All the staff were extremely friendly. A complimentary shuttle bus takes you to Duval street on the hour, every hour. It picks you back up at 20 past the hour, last one is at 11.20pm back to the hotel so you can experience the Duval st nightlife which is absolute must! Some of the negative reviews makes me think guests are expecting 5 star quality in a 3 star hotel. Would definitely recommend and would definitely go back. Great price, great location, great hotel!
