After my administrative discharge, I posted a bad review out of anger and frustration, but after talking with James Santa Marina (who is nothing short of a class act), I came to the realization that I owe Alot to this place, namely Alot of patience. I respect Dr. Moran and all he did to get me stable while in the throes of mania (lord knows they put up with enough), but I was getting complacent in their program and very frustrated. He is a brilliant Dr, who I believe has balls to continue to operate a mental health facility despite it not being profitable or his treatment recommendations being very popular with patients (to put it lightly LMAO). Hey if it were up to me I'd prefer still being manic, but we all know how that ends.best case scenario I'd be arrested for lewd and lascivious behavior, worst case I'd have my brains painting the wall behind me. So thank you FCFR for keeping me from ending up as another sad story of wasted talent, lord knows there are too many already.

The recovery environment offered at this location seems to be the most effective in facilitating true recovery. There's a reason for everything that is done here, the staff and medical treatment team are motivated to truly improve patients for the longterm. The program is built on accountability and trust between the treatment team and fellow patients. Dr. Moran has built this program on a foundation of sound neuropsychology to alter behaviors with providing the right medicines with the right behavioral modifications. Patients who have attended other programs will attest to the increased effectiveness of this program vs.countless others.

The staff would talk down to the clients. They make the kids sleep outside for punishment. These kids are not animals they are humans. When they move into the apartments its in such a bad neighborhoodthat these kids have to walk through to catch a bus to look for employment and are offered drugs. These kids are there for help and want to become clean and then they are in a drug neighborhood. I get it drugs are everywhere. But to charge $700 a month and lie and say the kids live in a great place but really they are not. The family weekend is a joke spend all this money and all the people put you down and its not worth it.

My son has been struggling with ADHD since he was 6 years old and with drugs since 14. I tried many treatments and hospitals in our home, Puerto Rico. Nothing works. We were desperate. Thanks to God, we found Family Center for Recovery. We sent our son on May 8th, 2017. Today, June 25th, 2017, we have seen the difference. Dr. Moran knows what he is doing. This program really takes care of your love one.

I can't say enough about Dr Moran and his staff! My son has been in and out of rehabs for 7 years and finally I am seeing life come back to him. Dr Moran treats each patient individually and this is not a cookie cutter program! He treats the mind and gets the patients to live an independent functioning life. He is serious about recovery and cares about his patients. I am thankful my son found Dr Moran and Family Center For Recovery.

Amazing. For the first time, after 15 years of much frustration, our daughter is making progress and has learned she is in control of her destiny. The staff at FCFR is phenomenal! They treat each patient different based on their medical needs. 30 day programs don't work in the mental health field. We are so happy we found FCFR.
