Family Dollar, Jacksonville FL

After reading many of the other comments left, I don't feel so bad about this review. The customer service I received at this location today was terrible! I took my 12 year-old cousin, who visited for Thanksgiving, to get a basketball. ALL of the basketballs were flat and he bounced one of them a few times to see if he could still play with it. The cashier, JESSICA, literally yelled to the top of her lungs "whoever bouncing that ball, please stop! ". This wasn't a polite 'please stop', this was a very rude, nasty tone to stop. I came from out of the aisle and asked her "so you're just gonna yell at a child over a ball? " Her reply: yes. Lol. Needless to say I told him to put the ball down that we were going to buy, so family dollar lost my money that day and probably for the future. I asked for her name so I coukd put in a report. She then asked in a snarky tone "you want the number too? ". Not only that, I nearly tripped over a basket of random items on the aisle. It's sad that customers have to deal with trashy stores, trashy products and then trashy service. I will contact corporate and continue to complain until things get better, even if that means calling the corporate every day. No customer, spending their hard earned money, deserves this.

I have been shopping at this location for a long time now. Recently I have noticed new management in the store. The manager Michell has and still is getting the store in order. It is nice to walk in and see. Keep up the great work.

This facility is lucky I couldn’t give a zero. I visited family dollar as the online ad specifically stated 12pk Pepsi products was 3 for $10. After arriving, I noticed there was a sign for 3 for $10 and another one for buy 2 get one free. When I was checking out, the manager (extremely rude) stated it was no longer available. I asked her why online is still advertising the deal and why she didn’t remove the tag that stated 3 for $10 in the store. Her reply led her to walking around the counter ripping the sign off the product and throwing it away. “How professional”. I advised her she had 2 signs that contradicted each other. None the less, I left everything in the cart and walked out due to her unprofessional conduct. I will not go back to this location. As a manager, it’s your responsibility to ensure customer satisfaction and they failed.

There is a cashier there that is EXTREMELY rude! I have spoken to the Mgr and she is still there being RUDE! I nor my family and a few other neighbors will not shop that location. I have also started making purchases elsewhere. Family Dollar losing business with this unprofessional female cashier. Attitude STINKS and they never answer the phone when I call to complain!

BAD STORE, always unpacked boxes of stock in the aisles, you have to squeeze past or you cant get through at all. Fire hazard. Bad customer service, rude crew, rude manager - she bullied us, said we caused trouble before. We never did, we are hardly ever in there. The manager is psychotic, they need to fire her and crew and get in professional employees. Typical hood culture. Go to another Family Dollar - neat and tidy, clean, great crew.

Maria has to be stopped. Worst customer service possible. Literally accused me of being another person and tried to prevent me from entering the store. Lies and creates havoc with children and customers.

Terrible customer service I was refused services because she didn't want the children to try on the glasses before buying. Always closing the store whenever the feel like it.

My husband sent me on a quest to pick up a curtain rod so we can decorate our guest bedroom. I took a picture of a couple rods and shot him a text on which one he prefers. Next thing I know, two store associates approach me telling me "to put back the items I stole and get TF out! " I take off my jacket cause I got nothing to hide and show my text message explaining the situation. The other associate humphs because I stuttered when I was caught off guard. I offered once again to search me on my way out. No apologies or anything. I will not be shopping here again till you get properly trained employees.
