We recently used Family Moving & Storage for the third time. This move, was by far the best move. We had 2 guys who could lift & they worked together & individually. Our move was last minute, as we were going to move ourselves, but Gabe made the move happen when we called him the day before. We will be moving in about 7 months, and I will be calling them back to help us, again!

Have worked with these guys in multiple occasions. Trustworthy and professional. Would recommend them to anyone.

On the day of our move, Sept. 23, Trey, Steve and Raymond were on time at our apartment and immediately set to work taking boxes to the truck and wrapping furniture. They finished in record time and drove to our new house and worked hard to get everything unloaded. They were fast, efficient and careful. Nothing was left behind, broken or missing. I highly recommend Family Moving.

The mover were great. No problem with moving me out and moving me in to my new place.very polite and respectful to me and my furniture. Staff at the office was exceptional. They have a good system from making you a appointment to move and completing your move.

Professional and efficient. My main concern was my guitar collection but they took care of them and handled them gently. The manager came down to help move stuff and make sure it all went smooth. All in all, awesome service and i highly recommend.

I would start off by saying that the crews that showed up were extremely polite and they worked hard. It is their professionalism that is the reason that I am writing such a poor review to warn others who may be considering using Family Moving & Storage that their staff seems to have zero training on how to move a household. I have used many moving companies over the course of my military career but look at the photos of the packing that this company charged us over $3,000 as part of an $8,000+ move that was originally quoted for under $6,000. I would never recommend this company.

WOW! I could not recommend these guys more! Pricing was fair, booking was easy, and everyone was so wonderful to work with. Moving is stressful but not with this Family by your side! Highly professional service and if I ever move again, or if anyone I know is moving- I'm sending them to Family Moving & Storage!
Update- I have moved again and of course called Family Moving! They did an amazing job yet again!

Guys were great. Could not have been more courteous or responsive to my concerns. Worked hard and fast. Only one minor problem but was resolved to my satisfaction.

Arrived on time and moved everything carefully with no breakage. Personable movers who took time to do the move right.

Very easy to work with as my schedule changed at last minute. Work was completed within 2.5 hrs. That was one 10 foot POD and a rental truck with furniture.

Our move could not have been done by a more professional team! Nicole at the office was very helpful and accommodating then the moving Team with Dennis and Jay and the rest of the team packed out furniture for storage separating the boxes were needed for our temporary rental

Cannot recommend this company, unfortunately. $1413 for 9 hours to move out (two bedrooms and small home office: 12 miles) with three items damaged compared to the moving company that moved me into the same place for under $1000, fewer hours (same number of people), and nothing was damaged. Really wanted to support a local family business because COVID handing destroyed my own, but it turns out this is naive to believe people will take responsibility for mistakes. My experience was with an OLED TV working perfectly fine the day before the move, but the day after, the move (when I had time to plug it in) it had a nice line of newly destroyed pixels down the screen. Had pictures and several witnesses confirming the fact that such a line did not exist within hours prior to the move, but Family Moving company required me to go through a formal claims process and denied their people did anything wrong. The extra time it took Family Moving & Storage compared to the other company that did the move-in? No explanation because it was one of their "best crews, " but their final "gesture of good faith" offer to account for over $2000 worth of damage and wasted time was $231.84-above their "obligation. " The TV has "an indeterminable service life" according to their claims people (CSI) -even after seeing the pictures of before and after-those people are clearly on the side of the moving company.

The moving guys themselves were really nice people but unfortunately it doesn't matter how nice you are if the job doesn't get done right. I was disappointed and surprised, as the lady that spoke with me on the phone afterwards when I brought these concerns up seemed to really care and want to make it right even though she was skeptical about one of their best crews-but I guess the owners didn't care. I was raised differently, but not every family is these days. So I have a line down my TV screen to remind me of a choice-consider yours carefully.

If you go with them, suggest to budget several hours more than the required time and move anything expensive like electronics or wood furniture yourself unless you have full coverage for the move by an insurance company you trust.

Furniture came out of storage with at least 4 furniture pieces damaged or broken. Some with water damage. Turned all of our contents on their side wreaking havoc on the insides. DO NOT USE. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
