Famous Dave's Doral

Ribs were great and service was excellent! Will definitely come back again. Other positive is they are open late!

We had a party at Dave’s and omg it was amazing. The food was great our waitress Octavia was amazing. So helpful and caring. That you so much to all the staff that helped make our night special. We will most definitely be back. BEST BBQ I have had so far!

Got the Beef brisket and Pork ribs. Both was very good. Got the corn on the side. It was very bland. The corn bread was also very good. Service was great. Price was also very reasonable.

I recently came here with my family (3 girls 10 and under) and we were very excited to about eating here.

The night started out bad when they seated us right under the AC vent which was freezing cold. I asked to be moved and at first we were told it wasn’t that cold. Then after 10 minutes of shivering they moved us.

Then we asked if the pork in the meal we had could be substituted and the waitress said yes. But when we got the meal, 1/2 of it was a huge slab of baby back ribs and we were told then they couldn’t substitute it.

Our wings appetizer came and we had no plates. We ate on brown napkins for a while until we flagged down a waiter who brought us plates.

I dropped my fork and had to eat with the servicing spoon because I never saw the waitress again.

We got one round of drinks. Waitress never came back to ask if we wanted more water.

We were never asked how our meal was.

The staff did express their apologies at the end of our meal and offered us one extra piece of chicken, but it almost seemed as if they didn’t want to be accountable for the meal order confusion and so they stayed away until we were leaving.

We had to go ask someone to bring us the bill at the end of the meal.

Overall, one of my worst restaurant service experiences ever.

It’s a real shame because the food there is good. But if you’re a person who expects a decent service experience or a manager who cares about fixing a problem when someone messes up your order, you won’t leave happy.

However, the food is good. Maybe just order takeout and check your order before you leave.

Pleasant atmosphere, it is not a place like others where the smell of the carpets stinks, it is a very clean place, the food is typical of chains but with better flavor than others, the drinks are excellent!

From time to time, my co-workers would order from Famous Daves for lunch, and every time, I would be impressed. Finally we decided to give the restaurant a try for dinner. It was easy to find and has plenty of parking. We were greeted and seated very quickly. Our server was very polite and explained the menu to us. My wife decided to go with the St Louis style rib and BBQ chicken combo, and I went with brisket. The ribs were absolutely delicious fall off the bone goodness. Paired with their sweet and tangy sauce, they were heaven to our taste buds. The chicken was cooked perfectly not too dry and had a great flavor. The smoked brisket was so tender and had a perfect amount of smoke flavor that melted in my mouth. I would suggest this place to anyone who loved BBQ.

Our family of 4 came out to have dinner. We are down in Miami on a business trip. We love Bbq so wanted to try famous Daves. We were met with hostesses and servers that were only slightly not completely annoyed to serve us. We ordered the sampler appetizer and tostones to start. We were so dissatisfied that we stopped there and decided to go somewhere else to satisfy our hunger. The food was really bland. However, the burnt ends were good and that is what raised this review to 2 stars. 2 veterans and their kids leaving hungry.and disappointed.

Excellent BQ food tray. They serve a huge amount of food, great flavor but a bit cold.
They took a loooong time to bring our food to the table. Better bring some to keep you company and talks a lot, otherwise, you will feel lonely waiting for your food. The place is great.

Just another industrialized barbecue place. This is nothing like true smoked barbecue. The sides and bread taste nothing like home-made food. It’s unfortunate because it’s a beautiful restaurant.

We have eaten at Famous Dave's in Bloomington, Il.many times in the past. The food was always good. Doral Florida brings it to a new level. The "South Florida tastes" were delicious! We had the testones as a side dish and found them very tasty. The chopped pork BBQ potato and veggie quesadilla were nice as entrees, But the star of the show was the burnt ends appetizer! So tender and covered in a caramelized glaze. This is a must-do again next trip place.

This place was impressive and delicious food was A1. We gave a generous tip because our waiter was so kind and accommodating. We didn't have to ask for anything because he was on top of his job. I wish they had this place in our area.

Well it's edible. Tastes like everything has been microwaved. We eat out a lot because we travel a lot for work. This is one of the worst places we've ate at. Service was mediocre at best, felt like our server was incredibly annoyed by us. We ordered an appetizer and was literally disgusted with the food. Paid our bill and left to go somewhere else. Cheap food, heavily over priced.

For this price point you should be getting an authentic Texas BBQ experience and the food here is at best like going to your friends cook out who is learning how to bbq.

The food was good, I felt like I was being rushed by the servers the entire time from the time I sat down to the time I was leaving. The server picked up my tray off the table before I was finished eating and didn't even asked if I was finished! She was rushing me twice to pick something from the menu. Food good service needs some more training. Overall an okay place to eat if you're in a hurry.

We stopped here while waiting for the second of our back to back cruises (wedding and honeymoon).

Found the food to be very delicious and extremely reasonably priced.

Would recommend.

The attention is very good as always, especially Guillermo, but unfortunately we go a lot and we have stopped going because they have removed things from the menu such as the onion rings, the chips were super spectacular.
