Like used car salesman. They work on commission and once you’ve paid they could care less. I’m still dealing with hassles of an order from 6 months ago! Don’t waste your time or money. Go to Lowes or Hd, at least they have some accountability.

Bought a washer and dryer set there less than three months ago, the washer already has stopped agitating, spinning, reached out to them that I need to file the warranty claim with GE. GE can’t come out for a week, I’m left with this huge pile of laundry waiting. They need to have some thing else additional in-store to help customers. This is ridiculous. It was new!

Save yourself the headache. No follow through. Wrong parts, no calls back, over charged, no refund poor quality.

Order new appliances in January.
They told me that everything was on back order and my 3 pieces would come sporadically. Fridge came first about March. The delivery guy damaged 3 of 4 panels on my fridge.
Famous Tate policy is to turn the damage into a warranty call. (You damage it and it's covered under my warranty?) the skins was shipped 2 of the 3 skins to my house and the third was on back order.
I called my salesman to complain and he told me he can't control GE and there was nothing he can do.
I then said let's talk about your delivery driver how can he be so bad.
Then the salesman had the nerve to blame COVID sand day it might of came in damaged. Then why didn't he say anything before he left?
I'm still waiting for the third panel I feel like I bought a scratch and dent fridge at full price.
Dishwasher arrived installed no issues.
The range arrived I got a call on a holiday weekend I'm on vacation and my salesman wants me to pay for the range and deject a delivery date or they might ship it back.
Seriously you put me through this needed with the fridge and your going to sweat me for the payment?

This was the second set of appliances I've purchased from famous Tate and will be the last.

In response to the owners response to my review my main question is why was I not informed that it was damaged before he left I had to come home to find it damage and call and complain it should have never gotten there it's your fault it was damaged now I pay the price

Recently relocated to Tampa. First time dealing with Famous Tate. Bought a refrigerator, washer and dryer from them. Incredible customer service. Very happy with how the manager Brian helped me out and the delivery experience was also great. Will definitely recommend Famous Tate to all my friends and family.

Disappointed. We purchased a GE Profile refrigerator for our new home in Palm Harbor. It won’t be done till April of next year. A big selling point was that Famous Tate would match prices of others including Costco. And would continue for 30 days after the sale. Just before we bought Costco had a sale and Famous Tate matched it.
Yesterday Costco lowered their price again. Famous Tate would not match the price despite having done it once before. Confused buyer here!

My experience purchasing a countertop microwave was a pleasure. Morris M.was knowledgeable, and walked me through all options available. He was patient with all questions and concerns and I shall definitely return for future purchases.

We ordered appliances over a year in advance. Gave them the deposit and we were assured that they would have them when we needed. When we were ready to take delivery we paid the entire amount but the refrigerator was on back order. We waited for 2 more months and they never got us the refrigerator. Finally we requested a refund and that took 10 days to process. We were extremely disappointed as we have spent over 30K in appliances from them over the last 20 years. By the way when we canceled our order with Famous Tate we placed an order for the same refrigerator from Home Depot for $150 less and received it in 9 days. Actually before we got the refund back from Famous Tate. Not sure if we will ever shop there again.

We just got delivery of our new refrigerator today! Everything about our experience was 5 stars. Jerry, our sales associate was super friendly, knowledgeable, and not pushy.
We were told that delivery would be at the end of the month. The next week, Jerry called, to let us know that delivery would be this week!
What a unexpected surprise!
Delivery went smoothly. Raul and Alex removed our old fridge and delivered the new one. They were polite and professional. We will be shopping at Famous Tate for our appliances! Go ask for Jerry! Thanks again

This place was a joke the salesman kept trying to upsell and then he didn't know what he was doing and then another salesman got involved and then they started arguing back and forth so don't waste your time this place is a joke. Ended up walking out frustrated.

Purchased a King size Tommy Bahama Seashell Wishes mattress that came with 6 months warranty. Of course, after the warranty period, but less than a year, the mattress started to sink in the spot where I lay each night to sleep in (I weight 135 lbs). I tried calling in a few times to speak with someone, at the end a manager to handle my complaint, never could get the call back from them. It was a lesson learned. I highly recommend not buying this particular type of mattress that will cost you a small fortune to be used happily, only for less than a year. And, obviously, I personally would not go back to Famous Tate for any further shopping.

Ordered a new GE 19.2 cubic foot “garage ready” refrigerator on a Saturday. Received a follow up from Famous Tate an hour later confirming my order and asking which direction I wanted the door to open. Received another call an hour later confirming delivery on Monday, less than 48 hours after placing order. Refrigerator arrived on time on Monday as scheduled. Famous Tate is a first class operation from start to finish. Very impressed if their follow thru on our new refrigerator!

Morris Murray was very helpful and efficient even when we went back for an exchange he was helpful and patient. Great customer service is so important keep up the great customer service!

Very nice store plenty of parking for everyone a lot choices in the appliances prices are depending on what you like. I recommend this place.

After spending 2hrs at another store and being frustrated with options available, 2 friends recommended I go to Famous Tate! I was greeted by Juan and after telling him what I needed, he took me directly to the options for me that I could touch and feel and not have to just look online! He showed me all the features on each refrigerator, the pros/cons, we looked at reviews for each and most importantly he was patient with me while also helping me! I’ve already referred 2 friends to him. The delivery process was excellent with communication and when the gentleman arrived, they were professional and courteous. Hands down an excellent experience. Love the refrigerator so far!
