Fancy's Southern Cafe, Fort Myers FL

We were a large group of 12 so service was stressed but understandably acceptable given the size of our group. Drinks took sometime however, all ordered plates served on time and no one was left out. Food quality was excellent and on point. Ambiance very appealing, with a southern, old-school flair! We will definitely recommend and revisit.

My first time trying this place was 10/10. The food was very good! Michael was the bartender- not only was he the best but some eye candy! Thank you Michael and staff!

Great restaurant with quick service great food. We had there homemade doughnuts, meatloaf and eggs, and corn beef hash. Will definitely be back when back in the area.

As a local my first time there. The meatloaf and eggs. Ridiculous! Sooo good. The biscuits are unbelievable and the sauce on the meatloaf amazing! The top shelf booze selection is great. The atmosphere at the bar is beautiful with a great chill vibe. This place needs to be on D. D. D. You food network fans know what Im talking about. Cant wait to return. Thanks for serving me.

Food was amazing. Fried grits, catfish and banana pudding was 5 Star, 1st Class.

Been coming here for 7 years the chicken and waffles has been pretty consistent. The chicken isn’t seasoned well in my opinion but the waffle batter is good. I would like it if the portion was a little bigger maybe another waffle or something but it’s delicious. I don’t really care for eating inside. Even though the service is good the modernized western theme isn’t appealing to me. Overall food is the only thing that ACTUALLY matters so in the food category they do a great job! I mean if it wasn’t I wouldn’t have been returning for all this time.

We came for traditional breakfast plates, which were excellent if looking for full breakfast opportunities in a tasteful atmosphere. However, if you want a more diverse selection of southern dishes, the menu is filled with good choices. We enjoyed the meal. Recommend it.

What a great surprise! We've been to a few places when traveling through Ft Myers, I don't know how we missed this place. Brunch was amazing, thick cut southern bacon, fluffy waffles, and soft pancakes with a little crisp to it. We enjoyed every bite! You know it's good when you're done eating and still thinking about the food!

Just got home from this place after celebrating my little brother turning 21. Food was incredible, its not everyday a southern kitchen can remind me of my grandmothers cooking but this place did it and then some. The bar is packed with anything you could hope for. The bartender DeeDee is a delight, funny, personable, and knows how to make a killer cocktail. I'd recommend this place to anybody, you'll be seeing me soon Fancy's!

Unfortunately had to wait a very long time for our food despite a half-full restaurant. The food was well prepared, especially the sweet potato souffle.

If you enjoy authentic southern cooking, Fancy’s is your spot! Had fantastic meatloaf with collard greens and black-eyed peas. Portions are generous. All amazing. Atmosphere is comfortable and even the live music was top- notch. Do yourself a favor and stop in for lunch or dinner (or breakfast on the weekend).

We went to Fancy’s for breakfast. There were multiple waitresses running around and none of them even spoke to us. After standing in front of the restaurant for more than five minutes we were finally seated. Then after about ten minutes and no waitress, no coffee, and no water we got up and left. Terrible service.

Fancy’s had some good a$$ breakfast! Really cool decorations with the old books a the bar.

Solid dinner/date spot with a fun ambiance, although it can get very loud at times. Meatloaf dinner was especially worthy of note, as was their sangria!

My wife and I have dined here several times over the years. Every time has been fantastic. But tonight's meal was subpar. Had the Fried Green tomatoes for app. Dripping in grease. One tomato was thick, next was paper thin. Barely any sauce on the tomatoes. I had Shrimp and grits. It was okish. Wife had Crab cakes w Fried green tomatoes. Same problem w tomatoes. Super greasey. Miss the old Fancy's.

Food and drinks was amazing and don't forget the banana pudding absolutely wonderful.
