They delivered my gas to the wrong house now I'm almost out and can't get anyone to answer the phone or even call me back. I've been trying for a week now. It's big business that just doesn't care!

Update: We switched to Southern Quality Propane. They were able to get the job done! Now for the Ferrellgas Review: Tank is sitting on zero in January. That part is my fault. I should have kept better track. But they are telling me it will be TWO WEEKS before I can expect a delivery. I have always paid on time, by the way. Meanwhile, I came to find out they KNEW my tank is empty and took the same level of initiative to do something as the level of gas in the tank: zero. I am looking for a new supplier.

Not sure what happened beteween Fed 2023 and now. In Feb, I scheduled a service call, they came right out, replaced my regulator and charged me a single service fee for the work, which was done within a couple days of me calling. Now, I called for changing about 1.5 feet or pipe for my generator from 3/4 to 1/5 inch. They took almost two weeks to schedule, then they never came until I called - "opps, sorry, we seem to have missed several calls that day. " Then they came out and did nothing except say, yes, you need exactly what you said. We'll call you. Then they charged me $170 for five minutes they were here. Now, two weeks later (after I called twice) they finally sent me an estimate for an additional $600 to actually do the work that will take them less than an hour. I've been with them since I bought my house in 2019 but I'll be calling other companies tomorrow.

This company is price gouging and that is downright inhumane! For some of us propane gas is a necessity. There needs to be more of a regulation for corrupt companies like this! I was a loyal customer and I called to get my tank refilled. They quoted me 3.79 a gallon. I thought that was pretty high but understood inflation has changed things but then they wanted me to pay in advance but couldn’t come out for a week and a half out from the date I called. I told them I didn’t feel comfortable paying $800 in advance & waiting almost 2 weeks for gas. The lady on the phone got rude with me & just hung up on me when I asked about other options! That incident was a BLESSING! I started calling all the propane suppliers in the area and the other big competitor (A_gas) offered me a 1.89 per gallon new customer rate and after that would be $2.15 in the future! That’s a huge difference! This business should be fined for such price gouging!

Promises everything and delivers nothing.
Notified them about a propane leak. No response from them. I had to call another company to come fix the leak. Highest priced propane, takes over a week to get propane tank refilled. The guys says my tank gauge is not accurate, ok will you fix it, and what about all the propane that leaked. He acted as if he could care less! Only time you get attentive service is when they want to sell you something. Sad a company operates in this manner!

For 4 days now I have been trying to get them to look at my secondary regulator. I have not been able to get an appointment with them to come to my house and check the problem. Not getting enough gas to my generator. One excuse after the other to delay and delay their service call. I’m so fed up!

Stay away! This company is dishonest! We have 2 on demand hot water heaters and a cook top. Ferrell gas purchased our local propane dealer and took over ownership of our tank. For the last five years we used an average of 6-8 gallons a month. We ran out unexpectedly Oct of 22. Requested only 100 gallons. They filled it up at 260 gallons. No leak supposedly. Ran out June of 2023. Had to wait 10 days for service. We were not on keep full status. Usually they fill when no one is home. I stayed home that day to be sure driver tested for leaks. I saw driver hook up machine, less than a minute claims no leaks. Fills the tank with 260 gallons. When driver left I sprayed soapy water on valve and pressure reducer. All leaking like a sive. Ferrell gas did send out technicians that afternoon, they did not have nice things to say about the company. Technicians claimed the leak has been there a long time due to the propane saturation of the soil around the valve and pressure reducer. The bill came stating the fix was the day before the fill and green tagged. On top of that Ferrell gas charged to fix their tank. Trying to settle something fair, Ferrell gas is pretty much calling us liars and we have no proof. Really? Also Ferrell gas claiming they are not responsible for leaks inside house. Had a local company come out days after the fill. The house was pressure tested no leaks.

Technicians are rude, told me they’d get to the job when they got to it. There seems to be no management or scheduling for them to service anything. I’ve been without gas for over three weeks now spare yourself the pain and go with a different company.

Customer Service has always been great, repair service was really outstanding for us, and delivery on time very little wait.

I have been a customer since 2019 at a second home. I recently spoke with a customer care person and they were awesome. However the price I was quoted for my LP was $5.85/gal. I recently filled my tank in Georgia at my primary residence for $2.25. I got a quote from Amerigas for $1.59 for being a new customer and was told regular price after was $2.18. No one could give me a reason for the LP being almost 3X what other providers charge. I would gladly speak with a management level person to hear the reason for the difference. My home is in Florida and I do know the governor has said he would go after companies that are price gouging. Ferrellgas has lost a customer due to excessive pricing.

I called and made an appointment to have my tank filled. I told them I would not be home when they came out, and they told me they knew where my tank was and would fill it up and leave the receipt at the front door. They did just that. The only way I knew someone was there, is the receipt stuck in the front door.
They left no trace of any vehicles driving on my grass, the gate was closed and latched after they left.
I will keep doing business with this great company.

Your price is ridiculous. It place a lot into our just converting from propane to a heat pump. Unfortunately we still have a water heater and stove on propane. But you are gouging customers because I looked up the avg.retail price and it was SUBSTANTIALLY less than what you just charged us.
