7The branch itself has been amazing but fifth thirds customer service is horrendous. Switched banks today after the way I was treated after being charge overdraft while account was positive.
Worst bank ever, overdraft me when it’s positive balance then does nothing to help. Horrible.
Terrible customer service. Waited at window for over 20 minutes while the teller sat there inside with no customers. He even walked up and looked at me and walked away.
Slowest bank ever. Every time they do a
transaction it's like the first time they've ever done it.
Always plenty of of time for tellers to haver lengthy conversations while other customers wait.
The amount of personal info they share in front of people regarding you and you accounts is scary.
I have concerns it may not be a bank that's solvent as the economy worsens.
I really like fifth third bank but this particular office or bulding is bad in customer service, i went to withdraw money it was an amount higher than 5k so i cant use the ATM for obvious reasons, i was waiting in line and in front of me there was an old couple of course they will take their time i understand but there was only 1 teller helping and behind me was another guest waiting too, but there was another person inside the offices on the computer i mean if you see you have a line and the guest in front is gonna take a while do a better customer service and step out your office and help the next guest instead of letting only 1 person deal with everything, now i have to do a wire transfer since i need the money in another country and i have to pay a % fee for the transaction all because my bank doesnt have good customer service in this facility thank you so much

Terrible customer service, terrible response to the PPP Program. Completely dropped the ball. Many small businesses will be failing because of Fifth Thirds incompetence. Why would you only allow applications to be completed over the phone, but not give anyone a phone number to call? I have yet to receive a call more than 6 days after completing the "pre-application". Supposedly you are completely overwhelmed by this new process and the number of inquiries. Then wouldn't it make sense to allow your customers to complete the SIMPLE AND EASY documents by themselves and submit to you electronically? Neither big enough to be competent, nor small enough to give you the service of a local community bank.
