Everyone @ the Lake Mary office was amazingly fantastically awesome! I did not know what to expect, as it was the first time that I had checked into Lasik. From the first contact with Kristy Obermueller, to the receptionist, everyone that I had contact with, was extremely professional, kind and very knowledgeable! I would like to make special mention of the person who administered the various tests, her first name was Rosa (I did not get her last name), she was so wonderful! Also, would like to express my gratitude to my assigned counselor, Margi Lee, who exemplified every attribute you could hope for.from her kindness and willingness to answer all of my questions (no matter how stupid), to her recommendations and her level of overall professionalism.

I have been a patient there for over ten years. Cataract surgery in both eyes five years ago, and continuous treatment for glaucoma. Absolutely no bad experiences with procedures or staff. I will not go anywhere else for my eye care.

I was super impressed with how thorough they were for a free consultation. The whole consult took about 2 -3 hours. They walked me through my possible options, ran tests to confirm I was a candidate and were very informative through everything. The facility was super clean and the staff was incredibly polite and helpful.

Great place. Would definitely go there. I didn’t qualify for LASIK but I was informed of an eye issue I had not previously known about. I believe any other lasik place would have done the procedure which would have led to serious problems with my eye. Thank you Dr. Filutoski

This was my first visit. I was blown away by the outstanding customer service that I received from the moment I stepped into the door through the moment I exited! Extremely orderly and efficient!

Staff is very professional this was my first exam all the people were very thorough. Everything was explained as the tests were being performed as well with what options were available to me. Will update after I finish.

The support staff is amazing! They are always extremely kind and welcoming. The Optometrists are, in general, not as friendly, but seem to do a good job. I will update my review once my procedures have been completed.

I find that the FILUTOWSKI CATARACT institute in Lake Mary is very efficient and professional and work as a team to make their patients very comfortable and reassured.

Regret. Some choices in life can be reversed or remedied, but this one cannot. It took me months to muster the strength to write this review; it is probably the denial or refusal to accept that I am going through this, but I decided that the least I can do is share my experience. I had astigmatism and the idea of not wearing glasses sounded exciting. After going in and getting tested to see if I qualified to get LASIK, I was thrilled to find out I could. The first red flag, in my opinion, is when you sign a thick packet of legal papers all geared towards “liability waiver. ” At one point you are asked to handwrite sentences about risk and results. The professionalism that the staff showed during enrollment helped me have confidence, so I signed.

I had the procedure done. $4,600 later, I was excited for my new life without glasses and with better vision. I would pay double that to go back to where I was before. My biggest issue before Lasik was having smudges on my glasses. The trade for smudges was one of the worst decisions I have ever made.

I have gone through hell. From eyebrows and eyelids twitching to unbearable dry eyes, multiple visits to an ophthalmologist and the cost of Refresh eye drops that are going past $150 to date; the depression came to a whole new level when my eyes would start to get tired at night, to the point where I have to stop doing whatever I was doing.

I went in for my six-month post-op and my vision is not 20/20. When I looked at the Snellen eye chart 20/20 line, it was not clear at all. I communicated that I can guess what they are— and that is what I have been doing—but they are not clear at all. I understood that my vision would not be perfect 20/20, but I am having troubling seeing clear afar in general. I was told I still had a minor prescription and I was offered an enhancement or touch up with a 30% chance that it could help, or it could get worse or have no improvement.

At this point, I choose to live with this rather than to ever go under another eye procedure again. They offered me a prescription for glasses as well. Can you believe that? I went through all this to NOT use glasses, and here I sit being told I could see better with glasses.

I live with these issues and even became a member of an online Lasik forum where people share ideas to help their symptoms. I recommend people considering Lasik do their research. Really look into all aspects of Lasik.

I went there for a consultation and let me just start with my experience from walking in the building. The staff is very friendly and pleasant. Thank you Mila for making that great first impression one to be a reason to come back. The counselor Stephanie was also amazing and knowledgeable in providing me the information I needed to do the Lasik or SMILE procedure I’m thinking about doing, along with the additional staff. And when I say they know there clients just believe me they do. I went the following day to check out the SMILE procedure being done and Mila remembered my name. Not everywhere I go, I get that treatment. This location is a must if you’re seeking any services provided here.

Katherine Was my Eye technician. She was very thorough. She is a very caring and lovely person. She is an asset to your company. She treated me like I was Actually an important person. In a world where customer service is almost dead she is a shining star.
