Firebirds Wood Fired Grill, Orlando FL

I’ve been going to Firebirds here and there throughout the years and I’ve had great experiences up until recently.

The service in my opinion has taken a major dip. I called yesterday to make bar reservations. This has never been an issue and has always been accommodated for me and my guest. I drive from far and it’s hard to gauge what nights they’re going to be busy. During the call, the hostess was very confused about my request and told me that new management didn’t allow for bar reservations outside or inside and yet the outside bar was booked with reservations for a party. I guess they just weren’t willing to accommodate two people. I asked to speak to one of the new managers and she reiterated the same thing but agreed to hold two seats at the bar at my desired time. I was thankful and looking forward to a great experience.

When my guest and I arrived at the host stand, I gave my name and we were quickly and publicly admonished for our request. We were told that this wouldn’t be accommodated anymore moving forward in front of a large group and with zero discretion or attempts to keep the conversation between the parties involved.

To add insult to injury, we both ordered the prime rib. The prime rib came out no more than five or 10 minutes after ordering. And I must say it was lukewarm, tough and not very flavorful at all.

This place used to be great and I hope the new management will turn things around. Also, the parking is always an absolute nightmare - not sure why they got rid of the valet.

Firebird wood the atmosphere was good the decor is good for what I ordered I did not like first time there granddaughter's birthday she had a wonderful time so that's all that matters for the price of the Steaks you should get more than one side at least two.

Firebirds is quite pricey, but the burgers didn't disappoint. There were 4 of us that all had burgers with water to drink, 1 appetizer that we split and two of us had 1 alcoholic beverage each.the check came to over $140 with tip.

Was there for a private event and it was spectacular! Service was spot on, the food was marvelous and staff were accommodating.

Extremely disappointed with this Firebirds restaurant. I haven’t been to Firebirds in so long and when I finally did, it was an awful experience. Al the food looked good. However, the food took so long to come out and when they finally appeared on the table the food was cold. The chicken kabobs were cooked good but so cold. The fries were not even warm it was cold. We ordered well down steak and it came out bloody. We had said something about it and the manager came to table apologizing. They came back with fresh fries and well done steak but my chicken kabobs were half way burnt after “heating it up”. The least they could’ve done was apply a discount but no they didn’t we ended up paying full price for cold food and waiting an hour for food to come out.

I had a very great dinner tonight, food was amazing
And my waitress Anna was great.
Definitely will recommend it and I will be back for more!

Server name was Anna, the food was great, your server Anna was very friendly and attentive, she is an example of very good service. The salmon, steak, and lobster was very well prepared.

I went with friends for a ladies day lunch. Our food was delicious. I had the soup of the day, Clam Chowder, and the BLT salad. My friends tried a variety if sandwiches and soups on the menu, and all enjoyed their meal. The hamburger was cooked perfectly and to the temperature requested. Our waiter was courteous, efficient, and responsive to our needs.

This place has a nice vibe and good food. Well established by locals in Orlando, it worth your time to try it out. I had ordered the bacon deviled eggs and they were awesome! Also, a steak sandwich which was a thin rib eye slapped between two pieces of bread. They get a solid B for effort but there is a good reason steak is supposed to be thin sliced and all fat trimmed when building a enjoyable easy to eat steak sandwitch!

Had a reservation, arrived about 5 minutes before the reservation, restaurant was almost empty and we still had to wait almost 20 minutes.unacceptable. I would have looked past this if the food would have actually been good, it was decent, but definitely not worth coming back. Only good part was our waiter.he did a great job.

Our food was cold. From the appetizers to the steaks including the baked potato. Maybe our food sat in the kitchen waiting to be picked up and no one told our waitress. Disappointing first time.: (

First time there, we enjoyed the food, staff were friendly, and the ambiance of the restaurant was a plus! Outdoor bar/dining area optional. Indoor bar too. Loved that the manager came to check on our dining experience along with the service of our server. Check it out for yourself. Great location!

I was delightfully surprised to see they had a location in Orlando. I have always lived this place. The quality has remained consistent. The lobster queso is the reason to come but their steaks and their burgers are bith really good also. That chile dusted one is a favorite. Lemon drop martinis, if im feeling extra. Always a lovely environment and a delicious meal.

Great restaurant in for a quick bite and friends meeting. Recomend the promotion 2 plates from $13.95. Friendly service, clean bathrooms.

It was good and so was the service, but I had to send my steak back for temperature. They made it right in the end.

I went to Firebirds for my 3rd anniversary. It was an all around amazing experience! We were welcomed and greeted even though we came close to closing time. Food was 11/10 delicious and came out quick! Staff that wasnt even waiting on us came and talked to us and we’re so nice and friendly! If you haven’t been to Firebirds you absolutely have to go!
