Firehouse Subs Oakleaf, Jacksonville FL

Came in last night around 8: 50pm and they had just 2 customers in the store and 4 employees. Nobody greeted or acknowledge me. I ordered beef brisket and steak and cheese. Was rung up higher price than what was posted and questioned the cashier but all she said was she doesn't make up the prices. She could have asked management to look into it and charge me posted price or correct the so future customers don't get scammed by the medium steak and cheese price error. The 3 workers making sandwiches worked at a snail pace and I really thought they forgot my order. Finally at 9: 20pm, 30 minute later my order was done and without a thank you or sorry for your wait. My kids waiting in car were worried something had happened to me because I was in there so long. Ridiculous.

The service is incredibly slow. The food was delicious, even if it was an entirely different sandwich than what I ordered. Go to San Marco Firehouse location for better experience

Bottled water fundraiser. Seemed to be successful and great opportunity to get a delicious sub for free!

No matter how many times I order a to go sandwich they really don't listen they put the things you requested not to be on there anyway. I don't plan on going to the one in oakleaf area again. They don't even offer to replace what they messed up on. To much playing

Great location, usually in and out unless they are slammed then it takes time but overall I recommend this location

Food was great and the staff is almost always smiling! The very few times there have been small issues, they've jumped on them as soon as I mentioned them. Great experience every time I go there

6/18/2021: Dropping my review to 1 star. Did curbside pick up for the first time, pulled in and called several times over about 7 minutes. Multiple employees saw me sitting in the curbside pickup spot, no one answered the phone or came out to ask me what my order was. Went in, and they said part of their power went out. My order was ready and sitting on the pick up rack. Why did they not come out to my vehicle and ask my name to give me my order? They're turning away multiple customers, and someone could have taken a moment to ask.

It would have been great if they can just made it right I asked for no sauteed peppers on my Philly cheesesteak and I got all the way home and it had peppers on it I've eaten there many times and have never had a problem so I don't think this is a problem all the time

I had not ordered or gotten anything delivered from here in a while due to dissatisfaction. I decided to give it another go tonight. Like it’s been a couple of years…it had to improve, right? Yup. They moved from one star to two stars because of the speedy delivery from Grub Hub. In addition after sifting through the mess of a sandwich and the fact that I was starving, it actually didn’t taste too bad. The sandwich was super duper sloppy. I didn’t receive my pickle on the side nor did I receive my utensils.

It's a standard Firehouse, great subs.

But you have a 50/50 shot either getting an amazingly put together sandwich or one the falls apart when you try to pick it up (if it's not destroyed in the box).

Again, Tastes great but sucks to have to eat a sandwich with a fork sometimes.

Food is always great and so is the service. I always order to go and I have never had any issues. I really like how they have their datil pepper sauce in packets now.

The staff REALLY SHOULD SMILE. They may never know how a can help someone's day better!

Great staff! But, got overwhelmed by the lunch rush and it was taking a long time to get our order. Over all, I do think they were handling it well with the busy crowed and short staff. The food was excellent. Keep up the good work.

Can't get the order correct to confused to what no mayo means, not busy at all to much confusion wouldn't eat there i never will again.

Employees were nice and polite, NY steamer was a bit light on the meat and heavy on the mayo all in all not bad
