Firehouse Subs Town & Country reviews
15Bread was old.worst firehouse experience I've had. Normally they are pretty good, this location.not so much
Walked in and wasn’t greeted, went to the counter and a tall young male took my order. He didn’t have a mask on and didn’t smell too good. The place had a slight hint of marijuana… funny. My sub was soggy and I asked one of the workers too remake it and they snatched it back. I wouldn’t go here again!
Came at 1pm expecting great food and service, food was colder then my freezer. Food was not freshly made and you can tell. I am incredibly disappointed with this experience. I usually don’t complain but for this one I’m gonna complain alright.
I entered the firehouse today to find none of the workers wearing masks. The workers preparing the sandwiches looked unkept, no masks on, hair not pulled back. I found this unacceptable. I left and went to Jersey Mikes where they had on masks, looked neat and hair pulled back.
I wanted to like this place but the food is only mediocre
and the atmosphere makes all the much worse I was there for about an hour and I over heard many unpleasant conversations between employees specifically one referred to as Sam, I wouldn’t be surprised if others find them unpleasant as well constantly yelling and belittling employees.
Even while helping train a newer employee the staff did a great job of engaging with the customers, fulfilling orders, and informing us of upcoming deals.
This is the 3rd firehouse location in tampa I have tried to go to in the last week and all has a sign on door about being closed for some reason? Are they closing for good or just not coming too work?
Updated 1/2/22 1 star. I've been on hold for 20+ min. Called just after 10: 30 when it was suppose to open. Still no answer. Decided to just drive there, and it's closed. Last time I called, same thing. What happened to this location? It was GREAT but for the last year, it has been sooooo disappointing.
This is my previous review, 5 stars. Well filled sandwiches with different size options for every appetite. Several different choices from sandwichs, salads or chili.
This location closes early almost every single day for the last few weeks at least. Today I went in and two girls were working so hard and so behind on orders, but there was a male manager standing around and sitting in the office just watching them instead of helping.
They closed the doors at 3pm instead of 6pm on a Saturday. She locked the doors soon as k walked up. Don’t visit this place.
Just left that place. I ask For one sandwich and it was Only 2-3 people in there.got there at 12: 30 and the guy making sandwiches says I'm 4 tickets down at 12: 55 so I ask for a refund.seem like they take care of there online orders before people that are the in store.place was a disaster on the positive side the cashier was very nice.
This place is a disaster it's incredibly slow even with four people behind the counter the poor cashier is always saving the day and stressed making up for the others who seem incompetent and just not right for the fast passed job. The location is always busy so they should assign some one just for online orders and others just to take care of walk in clients who can't wait 20 plus minutes for a sandwich its very disappointing. The location is big and clean and easy to find parking its just very slow not a place to go or stop by if you are on the clock at work.
What can I say? It's Firehouse Subs. It rocks. You really can't go wrong. Is it the best sub I've ever had, no, but I'm definitely going again. And again. And again.
This location is the worst! They don't greet you when you enter the restaurant like before so that shows me there leadership in the store has already gone down hill. Last time they didn't make my sandwich correctly. Now this time the don't have the supplies to make a meatball sub. So they have poor leadership, poor customer service, no quality control, and inability to fulfill orders. So I came to this location and the only thing I received was an interaction with an employee with a snotty attitude and giant waste of time. I feel corporate needs to step in! Obviously the management and the staff don't care! The management and the staff can't handle their responsibilities or job duties. I won't be back and if you've mad me feel this way imagine how many other people you make feel this way. They should close this location!
Folks working behind the counter are extremely rude. I asked about an online order and immediately was met with an attitude. After I got my order- it was just a sub box with lettuce onion and tomato inside. I came back and received more attitude, even from the woman acting as the manager. What should have been a quick pick up and go was a nightmare 30 min ordeal. Never again.
