Horrible customer service. I am a provider for Medicare, have been for years and moved my office to a new location bringing some of the same Medicare clients with me. Payment stopped after I made the changes on the NPPES, jumped through all the other hoops, getting organizational NPI, Medicare number, at least 8 EDI enrollment rejections, due to whatever person decided to reject it for whatever reason. No follow-up phone calls, no guidance. This last time was it! They rejected for an issue that I corrected and faxed to FCSO-EDI. The consultant picked up the old form that I corrected, faxed it back to me and rejected it again. When I called, the consultant argued with me and protected her co-worker, finally admitting that the corrected form was, "in processing. " This system is NOT working folks at FCSO-EDI. We have a mental health crisis in this country please be part of the solution, not standing in the way of the solution.

Don't just trust my rating, look through the others as well. This is not a company I would do business with. Staff is unprofessional.

First Coast Service Options, Inc.has been hired by Medicare to reject covered services. Upon appeal a PSA test is denied when it is clearly stated in the Medicare & You (the official U. S.government Medicare Handbook) that it is a covered service once a year for men over 50 years old, you pay NOTHING for this service. This organization is corrupt to the core.

I am the owner and operator of Toles Provider Services LLC and I have been assisting healthcare providers for coming up on two years get in line with Medicare, I have been able to close numerous Medicare applications with first coast and have had pretty good communications with the reps I have come across. I started with a new provider about a month ago in which I received one email from a rep by the name of Arielle Stewart informing me of my deficiencies in which I was able to send all updated information to continue process for the provider. Roughly 10+ days later to know follow up from the representative I reached out in reference to the status of the application and which I received a follow up call from her the following day informing of the information and which I had already sent but there were a few other documents and which were needed in which were also sent over. Arielle Stewart contacts me in reference to the information in which was still deficient and I inform her all of that pertinent information or us already sent in which she states it wasn’t, I sent everything again and the following day I receive a rejection due to lack of follow up on the application. The reviewer stating that it was the national certification needed for the provider in which was sent over As requested for the certification statement and then she states it’s the national nursing certification and which on the requisition via email was not the document and which she requested. The following day rejecting my applications with no plausible reasoning, I inform her this has never been requested in the past. Her overall behavior and demeanor in which the way she carried her self on the phone and professionally was absolutely inappropriate, the lack of communication and her job absolutely unacceptable. I am highly upset and disappointed in first Coast on boarding employees that don’t follow protocol another job at hand.

I submitted a claim for reimbursement of a Covid-19 test three times. Each time they returned the documents with the exact same form letter stating that they cannot process the claim because “ these services were not performed in Florida “. I also provided evidence that the test WAS performed in Florida, which they ignored each time.
Note that every review posted is 1 star, except for only 5, which give 5 stars. There are no 2,3, or 4 star reviews. Clearly the 5,5 star ratings are fictitious. Just another example of our incompetent government at work. First Coast is the DMV of Medicare claims processing.

Good luck trying to get a denial, let alone a claim paid! Automated system is impossible to get through and there is no option for help. Such a horrible experience!

Bad.very bad! When you apply as a provider they seem to do everything they can to make the process as complicated and as lengthy as possible. They do not return emails or phone calls, and writing letters to them is a waste of time. I have heard from other providers that this is the easy part. I can just imagine how badly they treat the patients. A disgrace!

Would give them zero stars. This was the worst place to work for. The managers were borderline abusive and should have never been in their positions. Also they had no clue about their "minions" were working on or couldn't even understand it. I know a few people that wanted to get lawyers involved due to how employees were treated.

By far the worst experience encountered ever, they either don't know their job or they just don't want to do it. I wonder how their employees get away with this incompetence and lack of insight. Moreover, they always find someone else to put the blame on. THIS NEEDS TO CHANGE, A MASS REPLACEMENT OF THEIR EMPLOYEES IS VERY MUCH NEEDED ASAP.

Just another government subcontractors that does not care about their customers. They were provided information required and a bill for $2,500.00. They returned the bill to me requesting additional information. I provided the additional information to them. When the claim was processed the second time they decided that they were not the proper place in Florida to file the claim. They also did not inform me that my claim was denied a second time. Instead of forwarding all the information they now have to the proper filing place in Nashville, Tn. Which makes since for someone with a customer service attitude. Instead they did nothing. Now I have to file for a third time to another medicare company.
Great way to help a VIet Nam and Desert Storm Vet. The government should review their contract with First Coast Service Options Inc. They should take Service out of their name because they do not understand what service means. As a Navy Senior Chief in the Supply Department, I made one of my workers said he could not issue a part to a customer. I made that sailor walk down 5 levels in the ship to get a 50 lb valve and bring it back up to my office. I then made him carry it down to the customers work space. That is what customer service is all about. It is a shame that a company would accept money to do a job and not take the care and compassion to assist the customer to their fullest extent.
