Farm to table is no joke at First Watch. The food is always fresh. Their juices are made from scratch in house. The flavor pairings of everything are to die for. Due to how good the food is it's ALWAYS packed so I recommend checking the live service ticker on their Google page before you go that way you can arrive whe they aren't so busy. They also have out door seating that way you can bring your pups with you if they suffer from separation anxiety. Don't have a dog and just want to eat outside? You can do that, too! Although I'm posting this on 8/28/2023 when the summer we've had has felt like Satan's sauna! So why would you wanna eat outside in this heat? Anyway if you're looking for a great farm fresh healthy breakfast First Watch is DEFINITELY the way to go. They also have a sister restaurant in downtown Nashville (my hometown can't wait to move back) called Sun and Fork and they're just as good. So hope yall enjoy and hope to see yall there soon! Oh must try the morning meditation, million dollar bacon (good news doesn't cost that much), Italian rustica fritatta, and the quinoa breakfast power bowl.

I fly to Florida every two months and this is my favorite breakfast spot to go to every time. Food is excellent.

My experience here today was the worst all round service I have ever received. The wait was 15 mins before being seated. Ok, no problem. After being seated we ordered our food. I ordered coffee and the other 3 people in my party ordered their drinks. Once we received our drinks My coffee was lukewarm and the garnish in my 2 friend's drinks were wilted but served. The waiter never returned to ask if we wanted a refill or how everything was going. After waiting for a hour me and 1 other person in my party received our food. The other half of the part did not receive their food. They ordered waffles. Why on earth would it take so long to get waffles? How hard is it to pour the batter in the waffle iron, cook it and then serve it? At this point we are leaving the waiter tells us they were down a waffle iron and they had to get out the Uber Eats, Doordash and or Grub Hub orders first. Why are pick up orders priority over in person seating? Also I'm thinking why wouldn't the waiter tell us from the start or come back to the table to let us know the waffle iron was a problem so something else could be ordered.
UPDATE: I was asked to give First Watch another try. I did visit the same place at about the same time. Our party was just 2 instead of 4. I ordered the same thing again. The coffee was the right temperature. The food came out looking delicious and our waitress communicated with us and asked if everything was OK. The hostess check-in and our checkout was pleasant. This visit was a 360 change compared to my previous visit. Thank you!

First watch has some of the best food I've ever had for breakfast in the Tampa area. They do seem to face some challenges from time to time with service but I still come here anyway.

Service was great. Food was good. Seating is terrible. Tables are too close. No screens on the windows and the sun reflects off the cars in the parking lot. Drinking glasses we scratched or unclean. Good food, not worth the atmosphere imo.

I always have had a positive experience here. This restaurant is very clean and organized with attentive professional waitstaff. I like their morning meditation, BLTE, blueberry pancakes, and omelettes. All their food and beverages are fresh. I highly recommend this place. Thank you

We went here for lunch and ordered sandwiches and soups. Ham and gruyere cheese with Tomato Basil Soup, and Roast beef and Havarti with chicken white bean chili. Our waitress was atrocious and inattentive. We ordered 2 specialty drinks and waited 15 mins for them. It took 45 mins for us to get our grilled cheese and soups. The person behind us got their breakfast items before us even though they were seated 20 mins after us. My cheese wasn't melted the bread was hard on one side and soggy on the other. And the waitress blamed the kitchen and had excuses and no accountability. Then proceeded to treat me like trash because "how dare we complain" Things happen all the time no one is perfect. A simple "I'm so sorry I forgot about you guys I was a little busy" goes a long way. The Manager Victor was the only saving grace. He was appalled by the way we were treated and agreed there was no excuse for it. Will not be coming back there's better ones out there

Had to get out of the house so my wife and I decided to have an early lunch. We’ve eaten here a number of times and the food is always good. I love their Lemon Ricotta Pancakes but this time I had their BLT with Egg. My wife had the Monterey Club. Both were delicious. Place is clean, service is quick, and safe practices.

First watch is always a solid choice for breakfast. I appreciate that they have a seasonal menu with new options as the regular menu has fairly standard offerings. The blueberry cornbread was delicious! My husband really likes their chickichanga.

I don't know why i keep coming back to this place because the food + service is definitely not it.for the prices, it is absolutely not worth it.the food is so nasty, the wait staff are not friendly, and the restaurant space is so small that you can't really even sit comfortably or talk at a normal volume.i have dietary restrictions and i asked for gluten free toast and no cheese on my meal.i received regular toast with a whole bunch of butter on it! After asking for gluten free bread, again, i received the hardest piece of burnt gluten free toast.i've been gluten free for a long time now, gluten free bread does not taste like that anymore.my meal was just not good, they served rotten avocado in another meal that one of my family members ordered.the only good thing was the morning meditation! Please save your money + go somewhere else.

Best breakfast place! I've been to the Dale Mabry location many times and I've enjoyed every meal.

Arr, me hearties! I recently partook in a fine feast at this here establishment. The vittles be always fresh and me taste buds danced a merry jig! The scurvy crew of staff provided outstanding service, makin' sure me mug o' joe never ran dry. The relaxed environment be akin to settlin' in me own ship's galley. 'Twas a splendid experience, indeed!

First Watch does breakfast/brunch right; they have breakfast favorites, jazzed up brunch entrees, and a rotating list of seasonal specials. The "Chickichanga" is a delicious take on a toasted breakfast burrito with a sauce you'll want to dip your bread in. Their blueberry cornbread with the lemon curd butter is also superb.

This is the best first watch location I have been to. Food came quick and everything was very clean. Staff was friendly and our waitress Madelyn was very helpful and had great recommendations!

Not very impressed with this place. The food was great but the service was severely lacking. But young ladies working the tables were not friendly at all and I did not feel very welcomed. It was as though everyone was simply in a bad mood. If I were looking for a place to bring my family for breakfast, this place would definitely not be on my list. It was my first visit in a few years and it will be at least a few more before I return. Pricey food for cheap service.
