Fisher Island (Ferry) Terminal EAST reviews
12Such a cool experience. Easy to navigate terminal with super cool staff. My first electric car ride on water safely secured for passage across from Miami Beach to Fisher Island
This is the ferry terminal to access fisher island. There is a residents terminal and a contractors terminal on the opposite side. The residents / guests terminal has multiple lanes. If you are a resident you take lane 1. Guests take lane 2 and employees of residents lane 3. You can drive on the ferry or walk on it. The ride itself is only 10-12min and the main form of transportation on the island is via golf cart. In order for you to access the ferry / fisher island you need to be cleared by a resident. Security will check your identity in their system
I was invited to an exquisite dinner at the Fisher Island Beach Club restaurant. The appetizers and entrees were excellent and the employees were excellent. Thank you.
Nice, helpful staff! Especially to an "outsider" and not being familiar with the area at all. I wish I had caught her name but she was very helpful. The ferry ride was done well and professional. The Capt did a great job, especially the one on the way back from the island. I took one * for reasons I'd rather not say here.
The terminal was a little confusing in terms of directions but the staff and signage were so helpful in getting me to the island. I couldn't have done it without them!
I have the worst experience with that terminal, I have been waiting for three hours to enter for several days and I am clear. The last time they hit my car inside the ferry, due to the bad control of the guides. I do not recommend entering via sea.to that island, come by air.
I'd never been on a ferry and I was heading over to the island to teach. The attendants were super friendly, helpful and nice on both sides. It was a quick and easy transition from land to ferry and back! Very well organized.
The ferry comes every 30 minutes, and they may change the terminal, they have two currently, so pay attention from where the cars get out, either left or right lane.
Is an effective service and due to previous accidents they will ask you to turn your motor off to avoid accidents.
For visitors you will have to ask a resident to “clear you up” so you can visit.
That.s are the far way You are able to go in South Beach. People love to surf on that beach
because the big waves at the ocean. You can go there by the Street South Point Drive one block east from Ocean drive. You are able to park yours cars at the street. But dont forget to pay the meters or your car will be Towed way
I mean it's a ferry what can you say about it? Super annoying ever since someone died that they insist on turning off your engine. This is Florida, sitting in a car with no AC is more dangerous than the chance of accidentally driving off the boat.
They don't double check the security of the cars. This resulted in the death of 2 women in 2/20.
Oh Fisher island. How I do love thee. I dream of the grass courts and awesome tennis we played there. Welcome Caroline and David Lee. Love you two.
