Fishhunt Everglades Fishing Charters, Everglades City FL

My husband and I went out with Captain Wayne to kick off his 40th bday vacation. Captain Wayne was determined to get us some fish. We caught a bunch of Spotted Sea Bass (to keep), a couple puffer fish, large lady fish, and a couple other random fish. It was a blast, and when we hot back he fileted and chunked our catch for us, and told us how to cook it (which was one of the best fish i have eaten).

Captain Wayne and I had a wonderful time fishing off Everglades city the last week of February. It was a perfect day of fishing, and the weather could not have been better. Captain Wayne knows the islands like the back of his hand - a few interesting history stories as we traveled through the islands as well. The highlight of the trip was a 30 lb Cobia which was a struggle to land. For lunch Captain Wayne had made a smoked Cobia (from a prior trip) salad spread which we ate on crackers with a cold beer (courtesy of the Captain) - it was absolutely fantastic. We caught a large variety of fish. At least a dozen different species of fish - most were catch and release. Cobia, Sheepshead, Pompano, Blue Runners, Yellow Jacks, Speckled Trout, several types of catfish, and many others I don't recall their names. We caught fish everywhere we stopped. Captain Wayne knows the spots. Looking forward to a return trip.

My buddy and I had a great day on the water with Captain Wayne and Fishhunt Charters yesterday. Captain Wayne went the extra "miles" in less than ideal conditions and it paid off. We had nonstop action and caught lots of fish including various Snapper, Jacks, Grunts, a nice size Goliath Grouper and some really nice Sheephead. Captain Wayne was a lot fun and we'll 100% go with him again. Looking forward to more trip this year in March and May. Highly recommend Captain Wayne.

My family had a fantastic fishing trip with the ruggedly handsome Capt. Wayne! He worked extra hard to keep us on fish all day and even made a few extra stops on the way back for my son. We definitely recommend him for fishing near Everglade City.
