Flagler College reviews
14This is a review of the old hotel, not the college. The college does have a good reputation and seems like a great place to go to college. But, as to the facility, you can walk in the lobby and check it out, but best to make a reservation for a tour. Make sure you spend some time in the dining room. It's incredible.
I did not study here. I walked by in wow when I was on vacation! It’s the most beautiful college I’ve ever seen!
Attended the Flagler Forum on Government and Public Policy. The speaker was Hedrick Smith, a Pulitzer-prize winning reporter and Emmy award-winning producer. His presentation was akin to taking a master's mini course in history. He covered the war in Ukraine, Russia's relationship to Ukraine, Putin's history, and so much more! And among his 26 primetime specials, are those on jazz greats Duke Ellington and, dear to my heart, Dave Brubeck. Thank you Flagler. This series continues to educate and inspire!
Amazing place, very entertaining and informative tour guy there. We have enjoyed this visit emancly.
Stopped by during a road trip to Florida. Beautiful college with Spanish styled architectures.
The tour of Flagler College was excellent. The student guide was very knowledgeable and spoke very clearly, so it was easy to understand her. Such a rich history for St. Augustine. I would recommend anyone to go if you are in St. Augustine and can spare the hour for the tour.
Everything I expected, beautiful building. Missed the tour times at this time 10am and 2pm. Was able to walk through the lobby and explore unrestricted areas freely which was nice.
Very cool architecture and a great place to snap a photo while in town. I don’t attend the actual college just review based off the architecture outside. Very cool historical place for sure
Boring, a bit too much money for the tour. As the tour is quite limited. Might as well just walk around on your own.
Amazing architecture and interesting history. Worth visiting even just to see the grounds and the main lobby.
Both a functioning college and a historical site. Unfortunately, at least while college is in session, access is restricted. You can walk in the lobby but not up the stairs or into the wings
Walking around the outside you see nice peaceful green spaces an majestic historical architecture.
Worth a walk around for 30 minutes to an hour.
This college is a work of art—one of a kind and if you get the chance to take a tour do it!
We had a fabulous tour from Jess today. This charming young woman provided in depth knowledge of the Flagler legacy and enough humor to keep her audience interested. Jess' voice could even be heard by us hearing challenged individuals.
By far my most favorite tour in the entire city! Our tour guide was a lovely freshman named Leah and we had a very unique tour with cool observations and obscure little nuances of Henry Flager himself. It is a MUST to check out the college as a tourist or maybe a hopeful college student.
