Flamingo Park Tennis Center reviews
12Located in the heart of South Beach, you would not expect so many courts! The staff is very friendly, they helped me find a partner.
I like to play at Flamingo. There are clay courts and hard courts. It is not difficult to schedule to play and if you are alone you can find somebody there or try the center database.
I like playing on clay, plenty of courts. If you prefer a hard surface, you can have it too. The staff is friendly and if you don’t have a partner they’ ll help you find one.
Very impressive. It’s a wonderful facility, especially given that it is a public court. Excellent.
As a resident of Miami Beach and a Concierge I love Flamingo Park for many reasons, especially with the continued development throughout the pandemic. The courts are very well maintained. Unfortunately it has been increasing difficult to play with the influx of people that have either moved or visiting Miami Beach. I was told that the website allows you to book ahead of time which is a great tool.in theory. What was not mentioned is that whether you go online or call in you can only book 1 days in advance for non-members and 2 days for members (I was told 2 days regardless of membership). I've attempted to book numerous times and availability is scarce at best with courts almost always completely booked. After being told that I couldn't book more then 1 day in advance unless I was a member, I asked how much a membership would be. The associate said "IF" they become available it would be about $400 per year for residents and $600 for non-residents, and it would be till October when they possibly would become available. It is disheartening that they do not allow bookings more than 1 day in advance and that they won't make accessibility to residence more of a priority other than a discounted fee. ($12/pp currently) Please do better by your local residents.
Great har-tru clay courts. Fabulous customer service by Justin and the entire staff. Facility was spotless very well kept.
I've played tennis since I was a kid but had no formal lessons. Mcclain has a great way to take what you know, advise how to get back to the basics and helps you just enjoy the game more. He has a great attitude and makes the whole process enjoyable. I would recommend him highly!
If you are in the bay area and looking to take up tennis lessons, look no further and just go to Flamingo. Take my word.
Flamingo Park Tennis Center has also worked with my husband, who plays at the experienced 4.0 level, and has made a positive impact on his performance as well.
It’s a really good place to play tennis!
The staff is really nice.
Usually, it’s easy to get a course for the next day.
It’s so convenient.
I love it!
Super well maintained clay courts! Looks like it is another facility recently! I highly recommend it.
Courts are great but top management is less than desirable. Time for a change. Was much friendlier and affordable years ago.
