We had a great experience here. Will definitely return. Food was hot and tasted fantastic. Service was great atmosphere was nice they have a large fish tank with colorful fish swimming around.

I go here practically every week during my lunch break. The lunch deal is a great price, and with the rewards, getting a free lunch every once in a while is great. The staff is always super friendly. Flannigans is a South Florida staple for a reason.

This was my secont time in Flannigans, this time with my family, who enjoyed everything about the place: nice gifts for the kids, great ribs, cool atmosphere, friendly service.asewome experience!

Food was great, drinks were very good. Service was a little slow considering it was not very busy. Overall it's still a very good place.

This was my go-to Flanigan’s for many years, but the kitchen/management have gone downhill a bit in the past year or so sadly.

I've resided in Ft. Lauderdale for over 25 years and specifically Oakland Park for over 10. After today's experience, I'll be coming here more often!

I entered from the east side of the building around 11: 30 AM, which takes you into their well-known bar, and the lunch crowd hadn't hit just yet. I was immediately greeted with a smile as I walked in, and decided to take my time and sit at the bar to enjoy a cocktail. The bartender was busy making drinks for those at the bar and the service area but was able to take my drink order promptly.

I then decided to sit at a booth in the rustic nautical themed dining room and had the most amazing waitress ever, Jasmine aka Jazzy. She made my day with her smile, her promptness, and multiple touchbacks after being served. Right down to offering me dessert with a menu in hand, along with asking if I wanted a refill on my beverage to go! I did have blackened Mahi Mahi with dirty rice and a few squirts of their bbq sauce, which was all so delicious! Combine very good food, with a phenomenal waitstaff and you have a five-star rating!

Well, folks, let me tell you about my epic adventure to the "Culinary Catastrophe" last night. Picture this: I waltz into the joint, and it's like I've entered a cave that hasn't seen the light of day since the dinosaurs. The place is so dim that I think they're trying to set the mood for a romantic dinner with my flashlight.

I order a lemonade, and I swear they must have used water from a puddle out back, mixed it with some lemonade concentrate, and called it a day. I mean, I've tasted cleaner mud pies in my childhood.

Now, let's talk about those chicken wings. I have a theory that they were actually cooked in a top-secret microwave oven that NASA developed to send astronauts to the moon faster. They were probably as tough as astronaut food too!

But the real pièce de résistance was the burger. It was so raw it could've moonlighted as a prop in a zombie movie. I was half expecting it to order a salad and a side of antibiotics for itself.

And let's not forget the sweet potato fries. I'm convinced they were training to be Olympic swimmers because they were practically doing the backstroke in a pool of oil. I could've held a deep-frying competition right there at my table!

In summary, thinking about that meal still gives me the heebie-jeebies. If this place was any more of a disaster, it would have a starring role in a culinary horror movie. Bon appétit, my brave friends!

Been going here for years. We must passed 6 or 7 Flannigans to get to this one. Service is real good! Good is always cooked to perfection and portions are huge.

Service was poor. Staff was more focused on the game than the customers. I’m ok with checking out the game as long as you’ve completed all the requested. Sad that the customer is secondary.

I visited this Flanagan's location last night, and had a horrible experience. It started well, but progressively got worse.

The first thing is there was a strange pink smudge on the side of my wife's drink. We didn't complain, but it made us question cleanliness.

Our server was nice, but when our appetizer came out it didn't look the greatest, almost as if it wasn't freshly made. We still made no complaints.

Soon after we began eating the appetizer we noticed a small roach on or table. I killed it with a napkin and covered it and we proceeded to eat. We started to aee more roaches in the table, and that was the last straw. We could no longer eat there. We notify the hostess of the issue and she brings out the manager.

The manager comes out, and stands at the head of table and asks us what is wrong. We tell him there are roaches on the table. He looks around the table, and tells us he has a clean restaurant, and the bugs may have come through the window because of the rain, but insist he has a clean restaurant, and offers to move us to another table.

We decline his offer, and tell him we would just like to leave. He tells us to wait. He comes back with the bill, and I was shocked.

I question being billed for drinks and appetizer that could not be consumed because there were roaches on the table.

The manager gets upset by this. He continues to tell us how he has a clean restaurant and he offered to move us to another table. We try to let him know we understand that but we could no longer eat there, and would not be paying for the food due to roaches on the table.

He goes on to say he doesn't see any roaches, as he has a clean restaurant. I show him the roach I killed with a napkin. He reached over and grabbed the napkin and started to to tell us the roach was not a roach, and we were complaining about a little gnat.

I'm no expert in bugs, but I highly doubt he is either. My wife and I are however capable of identifying a roach versus a gnat, especially when they are crawling on our table.

He finally backed away from the table and allowed us to leave. We left a tip on the table for the waitress.

If the manager would not have been so rude, I would have never written this review, but since he did not want to take accountability for a unclean establishment, and decided to question what we saw, he now has to face the court of public opinion.

I've always like the Flanagan's/Big Daddy's brand, but my wife is no longer a fan because of this incident. You've lost a lifelong customer.

I ordered a bar bque chicken

They grill the chicken then add there (so they are saying) award winning bbq sauce per nick the manager on commercial
So my question shouldn't
The chicken be done with a BBQ sauce or is nick correct
It was grilled so adding the (disgusting award winning)
Sauce makes it bbqed
Apparently flanagan sauce is red like tobacco
Never heard of red bbq sauce

I had the surf and turf and a couple of beers. Everything was delicious, and the beer was cold. Bar tender was pleasant and helpful.

Always top notch food a service. A must stop when I get to the other coast. I would give my right arm for them to open on the West Coast!

Great lunch spot. Extremely loud! It was hard to chat but still good food and nice atmosphere.

Great experience and food! I work at a different location and found this location was living up to the standards. I’ll definitely plan to come back
