Restaurant Flapjack Johnny's reviews
21Very quaint little breakfast place. My New Jersey hubby adores finally finding a place outside of NJ that carries pork roll (his favorite breakfast meat). Their food is affordable and tasty for delicatessen dining. The clientele are often quiet and it's just a lovely breakfast spot. The servers are wonderful and attentive as well.
I ordered the cajun shrimp bowl. Was awesome. Lisa, our waitress, was friendly. Bathroom was clean an overall pleasant experience
One of the few restaurants open after the hurricane. Because of this, the place was busy. The server handled it well, with a friendly attitude and fast service. Good food!
Very nice waitress Michelle, very clean establishment. Good parking. Good location. Food was average. Nothing special. We had Johnny's Benedict and Johnny's big breakfast. Mine came with a Belgian waffle. I had strawberries, whipped cream, two eggs, sausage, bacon and tomatoes. There was plenty, plenty of food but it was just average. You know nothing bad. Nothing great, just average.
We drove by this place on our way to a recommended place that was closed. We went back to this restaurant, and boy, was it worth it. Clean, Great staff, super good breakfast. One of the best surprises of our whole trip. You will not be disappointed.
We are from Iowa. Came here for breakfast on our last day here! It is so delicious! Servings are huge, clean environment, staff is super friendly! We will be back next year!
Excellent and fast service. Food was excellent. Our waitress was very personable and kind. (Unfortunately, i cannot remember her name) My only complaint was that I asked for a little extra sausage gravy but they wanted to charge me for a bowl. I just wanted like an extra spoonful or 2. To the management.that's petty and may upset someone to the point that they will cause a scene or perhaps give a bad review. Is it worth the hassle? Other than that, everything here was great. Clean restaurant.
The food and service was wonderful. Our waitress was a real sweetheart. I have to specifically mention the homemade cinnamon rolls…. Like stepping into heaven.
We was on vacation so this place was next to our hotel.needless to say, we took the ride the rest of our mornings here.an I think it was very over priced
Hidden Gem on US1. First time a few weeks ago and they have one of the best Waffles I've ever had. It was huge and fluffy and just all around amazing! We purchased the cheesecake to go and was amazed by how big and delicious it was as well. Everything was top notch. Will definitely be back soon!
Just thought it was ridiculous that I wanted silver dollar pancakes and on the menu it was for 12, no way I can eat that many. But they would not divide it in half. I just can’t see wasting so much food. And they need not have them a la carte. First and last time I will come here.
I spotted this place out on maps to try out whenever we were over this way one morning. My wife is a big fan of waffles, so anything different than the average, I try and bring her to. We got here at about 10am on a Saturday. We didn't have to wait. We ordered and when our breakfast came we were both a bit stunned. For one thing, my wife's eggs were hot. Like she had to blow on them hot. My baklava pancakes were a feast of decadence. My wife's banana foster waffle was a feat or gastronomic brilliance. We had a great morning and will keep come back.even if we're not going this way!
Super cute place for breakfast and lunch! Food was prompt and delicious, coffee was great! Completely stepped out of my stuffed french toast norm and went for the Philly Benedict. If I’d known it was on an English muffin I wouldn’t have ordered it but I’m glad I did! Might have to give English muffins more consideration in the future! Thanks friendly staff for opening my eyes with a smile and extensive menu!
Amazing breakfast menu! Amazing service and super friendly and let me service frenchie dine in with us! Great hospitality! Thank you Gene for your great service!
First time I ever visited and will never return or recommend to anyone! Waited for over an hour and the meals never came out!
I've had breakfast here several times while I'm in this neck of the woods and I have never been disappointed. Really good food and really good service always
Amazing breakfast! Haven’t enjoyed a breakfast meal at a restaurant in a while. Our waitress Gene was super friendly and helpful. They treated my family great and even convenienced our service dog which is super super important to us. We are so glad we found this spot! Thanks guys!
P.s - best toast, biscuits, eggs and bacon ever! Lol
The breakfast bowls were very good. Nice portions. The waitress we had was excellent. (I added the hot sauce on the top) This was our second visit.
Many sugary options for breakfast along with your normal eggs and stuff. Coffee mug was stained and I was able to scrape off some
My number 1 complaint: NOISE. Don't come here if you want to actually talk to the people you're eating with. Really don't come here if you are hard of hearing. The kitchen (including dishwashing noises) is open and on top of that the music was blaring. I got the French toast and thought it was pretty good. My friend got very overcooked eggs and mushy homefries. Service was fast and efficient, menu was extensive (including Taylor Ham for those from Jersey).
