Flat Creek Family Campground & RV Park reviews
16We reserved one night to split up our trip home from Tampa and were very pleased with the overall campground. Clean, quiet and plenty of room for ingress/egress. Pull through sites shaded by plenty of trees. No wifi as of 4/26/23 as no major ISP will run lines here due to low population. I can understand that as we were told the same thing back home for years until the neighborhood grew enough. If you want to get away from it all and enjoy some peace and quiet this is the place! We’ll definitely make a planned visit here again.
Absolutely wonderful, quiet and peaceful little park. We stayed here when our truck broke down and we really couldn't have asked for a more hospitable stay. Everyone was kind and willing to help make sure we enjoyed our visit. Thank you Adam and Alicia for all your help. We really will need to find our way back there.
Wonderful campground and the people were very friendly. Would stop again. Had a larger dog park to let the dogs run after a long trip.
The place is clean well kept quiet. Very, very nice RV camp ground, tents, and also cabin.
Stayed here for a little weekend getaway as it is only 30 mins from our house. Really enjoyed the stay as the sites were plenty big, and gravel. Front office was very nice and pleasant to deal with. Enjoyed the nature trail and the exercise equipment that they had to offer. Was too cold for the pool but will definitely be back!
Great park! Good sites for big rigs 40 feet plus and cute walking trails. The dog park is HUGE!
Convenient location to Biloxi and Gulfport sights. Competitively priced. Excellent service from staff. Only concern is that the streets are narrow which made backing into our site difficult. This narrow street is why I could not grade it five stars
Great clean, friendly campground. Paved roads entering the facility nice dog park on the right and kids play facility on the left. It was a quick check in and took us to our site.
We have been coming here for years as a half way stop in our trips. The grounds looked the best we have ever seen and as always the staff is great.
Absolutely delightful and friendly people. So quiet.too bad we're only here for the night.
Just passing through and needed a convenient spot for the night. It was much more than simply convenient - very clean & well cared for, friendly staff, nice camp store with lots of products, and a fabulous fenced in dog park for our pup! Playground & pool too! This campground is a gem and we will definitely be back.
The short answer is the new ownership really cares for their customers and their Park rivals any KOA we have stayed at across the country.
The long answer is this is a true family rv park with the best dog park we've ever experienced. New playground equipment, a very nice pool, nice showers & rest rooms, fill up with propane there too. They're not trying to gouge you either, an example is a 6 pack of AA batteries is only $2. The owner himself heard I was having electric issues with my rv, we had a slidout that wouldn't work, the microwave and 2 gfci plus were all dead. I showed him all the electric compartments, the fuse box and circuit breakers.then he suggested we look at the batteries.and there was the problem, the connectors were extremely loose. I tightened them and it's working great now. We didn't want to leave as we really liked the quietness there as well. The place is the epitome of a true family Park, and they really do care.as evidenced by the lady calling me back after I tried calling to verify they sold lp gas, but didn't leave a message. I was truly impressed she cared enough to call me back. Want a great place to bring the family? This is it, even your dogs will thank you.
It was the first RV park I ever stayed in. Restroom was really clean and smelled good! Nice area to walk the dogs around:)
This is an excellent campground. If you're passing through the Florida panhandle, looking for a longer stay or even tent camping, this campground is an excellent place to stay. The dog park is exceptional, and quite big. I wish more campgrounds would make larger dog parks. The showers were a bit strange, but nice water pressure. Park store is well stocked.
Only spent one night but wish I had stayed longer. Flat Creek Family Campground is a nice little campground. Nice level pull-thru sites. Trees and shade. The park has easy access to I 10 but far enough away that it is quiet. It appears that most campers are short term. The check-in staff was friendly.
The only down negative was no WIFI apparently the campground has been waiting for over one year for the county to repair the fiber line they cut while doing some road work. Until it is repaired no WIFI. Only stayed one night but will stay there again for a few days and spend more time visiting the nearby springs, caverns and battlefields.
This park is nice, the staff is super nice and the sites were level. Easy to maneuver around the park and big rig friendly. Easily fit our 40' with 14' trailer and a prius in the site. Park is very quiet and dark at night which was nice to have. They are pet friendly and accept all dog breeds. Looks like they are still updating some places and working on the park to make it even better. Current staff said the current ownership has only owned the park for just over a year and working on making it better, even though I already think it is nice.
