Flavors Caribbean Restaurant reviews
19I went there at 7pm and everything looked like it had been out for hours. My wife asked if the food was fresh and her response was, "What do you mean fresh? " With an attitude. Then she said everything was cooked at around 3pm. She was nasty and rude and the food looked gross. I do not recommend this Jamaican restaurant anymore. They have gone down hill 100%
I went to this place on my lunch break & they served me cold food like it just came out of the refrigerator & my chicken was so hard.
The food here is the best jamaican around. Ally is the sweetest, beautiful inside and out and took such good care of me and the guests in front of me. Thank you!
The manager that I spoke with on December 19,2022 at 6: 30 p.m. As no zero customer service. I simply asked about the position available and she hang up the phone. Be careful who you allow to represent your company and she as no manners. Very hostile. If you are having a bad day don't take it out on the customers.
Very nice. Love the staff jephtee was sweet will be coming because of her customer service!
The food was TRASH I ordered some jerk chicken that wasn’t jerk it was burnt chicken my wife got the curry goat that was even worst. Those ppl in that restaurant can’t cook to save their lives. Plz shut down that restaurant it is TRASH! Plz ppl don’t go there u are only wasting ur hard earn money.
I had a small order of curry goat with sauteed cabbage, instead of rice and peas, to go, for $17. Both were tasty, well prepared and the flavors were traditional. The beef patty was juicy and delicious, with a flaky pastry.the best I've ever had. Atmosphere is cafeteria.somewhat dreary. Food was served in a foam takeout box. Service was perfuntory. I'll go back for the food so that i can try the oxtail stew and jerk chicken.
Good food/ok service. Service depends on who's working. There's one lady you can tell the atmosphere is different when she works. She's polite greets customers with a smile and says have a nice day when leaving. When she's there the staff is more polite.
5 years later - UPDATE
Had great lunch last week. Wanted breakfast all this week. SN: stopped coming because they were not open at the noted time. Came 3 times after 8 this week and the door is locked. One day myself and another customer called and no answer. There was a man there, we could see him in the back. Called one afternoon to verify the time and was told 8 am. Today I waited until 815. Yes there's a help needed sign.maybe there should be a sorry we're not open or open at xxx sign. Just a suggestion.
Unfortunately this is why I had to lower my stars. It won't keep me away but it will keep me from coming back so often and definitely never for breakfast again. Wish you the best with finding help.
If you want authentic food and big, generous portions come and enjoy! I highly recommend this place!
It was okay. The place was kinda dirty and as some others have suggested the food was prepared and served oddly. Nothing to write home about.
This had to be the worst jamaican restaurant i have ever been to the oxtail had no flavor the barby fri was soggy and they used sweet baby rays the rice had no flavor the drink they made taste like koolaid how they are in business i dont know
Little overpriced. Sometimes the food is not prepared the best way and there is not many things that you can choose from but is OK in general. Staff is nice
The food here was great when I first started going but seems like it's slowly declining. As well as most Jamaican restaurants have a $5 lunch special and theirs is $6.99 which is only a couple bucks off the dinner prices.soda machine also tastes like it has never been cleaned.
Aliyana Is one of the best customer service attendants I ever seen. Aliyana is very professional and courteous! Aliyana always greets me with the new lunch specials! I love the food Mom cooks in this family business! I love this taste of Jamaica!
Had an absolutely incredible experience here. Things are a little strange during these Covid times but this team was clearly doing there best. Our server, even though he was new, and manager were just phenomenal. Highly recommend and can’t wait to go back! Thank you, thank you!
I have never written a bad review in my life! However, the food I received yesterday and spent $30 on was the worst I have ever had, especially considering I have eaten from this Restaraunt previously and have always had a good experience. I was told the cook had changed… worse decision ever. Will not be going back. I had to throw out all of the food out! What a waste.
Breakfast will not recommend. I could not even finish the breakfast besides the fried dumpling. The liver was too tough and chewy, not cooked down soft enough. The boil banana and dumpling had no taste as if they did not add any butter or salt to the boiled water. In addition the dumplings were very tough. I Do not recommend.
Absolutely love it here home away from home aka proper Jamaican soul food I could even stay for hours after I’ve done eating
Worse rice and peas I ever eat, anyone say it's good because them can't cook good.and settle for anything.oxtail always swimming in browing sauce
