8All these negative comments on mr.pete I am scared now i am coming to see for my self Mr Pete see you soon
Very good Auction house but when it comes to coins way too many reserve prices after you are high they more then likely not sell it yo you need ti be $5.00 HIGHER on the coins and after you pay the tax and buyers premium you are way off on thePRICE this is only on The coin being sold by others.
Dont waste your time going here. Once you add the price + all the feeds the want to add you. Its over price it. You'll find cheaper cars on the web by private owners
Really drags the bids and the place is flooded with used car dealers. So many of the cars go for more than I have seen them on Swip swap.once you add the auctioneers percentage and fees you are paying retail for a car.
I to Have bought some real Flops at Flemming Auction, However I have bought some Real winners to. That is the nature of Auctions. I Bought a crane for est. 8k that I repaired and flipped for 30k. You have to go to Auctions with reality that it IS - as is where is. The customer that complained of bid rigging is full of crap. I have enough experiences at Auctions to know. Bought 4 cars in 4 yrs. Always a solid value for price paid. Peter and team due cursory check on all vehicles to advise on any issues. Trustworthy team, good place to pick up second or third car. For newer models you'll compete with sidewalk dealers. Definately recommend.
People! Beware about this man.he brings cars that are supposed to go to the junk yard and claims that they are possessed due to bankruptcy. You are not allowed to test-drive the cars but he tells you that the cars are in good condition. He uses his friends as fake bidders to jack the price up. If the final bid falls in one of those, he simply tries to sell to the previous actual bidder or passes the lot. This is what I saw on the auction date. People there also told me that this man changes locations every now and then to prey on new victims. I was at his new location all day last November and at the end of the day there was a 2008 Nissan Altima that he passed and I was interested in and he told me the final price. I asked him if the engine and transmission is good. He convinced me that the car belongs to one of his friends and he personally tested it.i decided to buy the car then he made me signed an agreement that i am buying the car "where id, as is" Soon as I drove it less than quarter a mile, transmission would not shift. I took it to a mechanic and contacted the owner who agreed to replace the transmission. The mechanic replaced the transmission at a total repair cost of $2200.00 As soon as i start driving the i was hearing a hi pitch noise and the idle was around 3400 rpm. After I drove it 300 miles the car died completely. When The mechanic contacted the seller, the seller said in order to give me good transmission, he needs another $400. I am now spending another $2200 for the cost of repair and used transmission that I bought from different seller with a one year warranty. It is too bad to see when people capitalize money on the trust honest people throw on them and it is too sad to see that to some people money is before everything.
I would not advised anyone to go to this auction but those of you who still want to to go, I strongly recommend that you take a tow track with you as well because you will not get a vehicle that you can drive.
My husband and I have been going to Fleming Auctions for years and have bought probably 15-20 (or more, I haven't kept count) vehicles from him. Peter and his staff have always been very friendly and helpful. They tell you everything "they know" about a vehicle, they are auctioning off. He has always been good on his word and is one of the best in Jacksonville. The thing to remember about auctions is, these are used vehicles and are not prefect, but they do give people a chance to look the vehicles over, front to back/top to bottom/inside and out and decided for themselves on whether to bid.
