Flex moving is top notch, they were much quicker to respond to my last minute request than PODS, I have been recommending them to everybody! My trailer delivery guy Dorian was prompt, professional and super cool thanks again!

09/17/2023: This is my final updated review of Flex Storage with some background. It's lengthy but I feel like it's necessary because these reviews should be honest and accurate if society is going to utilize them for choosing businesses.

-Quick summary: Flex Storage resolved all the issues, refunded my rental charges, and all of my belongings were returned undamaged. All of the managers I spoke with were apologetic for the situation and seemed honest about fixing this type of incident for future customers.

Long Story:
-I reserved a 7 x 14 trailer for a month to essentially just hold a lot of excess belongings while we prepared to stage our house to go to market and prepare for photos and staging. They delivered the trailer to my house on the day it was supposed to arrive but it was delivered a few hours later than the time window requested. Not a big deal but could be annoying to some people. About a week later the hurricane Idalia watch started. I was contacted at 10: 05am on Aug 28th from a representative saying that the trailer would possibly have to be picked up and transported somewhere for safety. The representative said they would call back if required to pick up the trailer. Nobody contacted me until a driver arrived at my house and started hooking up the trailer at approximately 9: 30pm without even knocking on my door to let me know. I stopped the driver to see what was happening and he had me speak to his manager on the phone, who didn't really have any answers to my questions. I told him that the trailer was only about 1/3 full and I couldn't even secure the cargo because the trailer had ZERO tie down connections. I rearranged the cargo the best I could to secure the items, removed most of the fragile items, and let the driver take the trailer.

-From that point not a single person from Flex contacted me on status or when it would be returned (which is not the procedure listed in the terms and conditions on the website). I called customer service at 12pm on Thursday Aug 28th after the storm had passed to see what was going on. The representative said that they would find out and someone would call me back. No one called me back, so I called again after the holiday weekend.
On Sep 5th at 12pm, I called customer service again and received the same response that someone would call me back. And that representative had no idea where the trailer was even located. I followed that call up with an email that laid out this sequence of events and stated that if the trailer was not returned by 10am the next morning I would involve the police and I would be disputing the charges on my credit card and report the company to BBB. I also stated that when it was returned I wanted to immediately unload it and the driver could return it directly back to the company.

-That email finally got some traction and I was contacted by one of the managers or VP/owner (I'm not sure). The trailer was finally returned that evening. The Flex driver helped me unload everything and then took the trailer for return.

So all in all, this is a relatively new business and with the hurricane it was a pretty unique situation. The trailer itself was nice and convenient except for the tie down issue. The biggest problem was the lack of communication through it all. But all the issues were ultimately resolved and I'm pretty sure they have updated their processes, policies, and procedures to not have this happen in the future. I can't give a 5 star review just because everything got resolved, but the company seems legit and I doubt future customers will have this type of situation.

Had exceptional customer service from Joel. He exceeded my expectations and made sure my moving process wasn't stressful.

Joshua was so professional. They said they would be here by 9: 30am and they we right on time. Joshua showed me how to use the unit and the locks. I shopped around for prices and they were the best and the customer service is even better. Thank you Joshua for being awesome!

My experience was more than what I could have asked for! ’s the movers were timely, they handle my furniture and items with the upmost care, and they were patient with me as I was I’m prepared for their visit this morning. I recommend the service to everyone looking for someone to help move or store items! Jeron was amazing! He deserves 5 stars all by himself!

Jeron We move moved from KY to FL, from Jackson to Tampa. This move back to Jacksonville has been the BEST movers yet. Jeron was professional and very courteous in 100° weather.
