Flight Center International Academy

This is an overdue review, probably should have wrote this a year a go or so. Finally found a time to do a review they truly deserved. Anyway, I miss the crew and people here. They're like my family. Ive flown to different kind of Company previously, even to the highest one you can name of. What separates Flight Center from others? Is they are very LITERALLY transparent about your cost and gives you update time to time and offers very good deal of package. I may sound like a marketing guy here, but i am just being real and saying the truth. I have to say, compare to others, everything here is relax while staying professional at the same time. Their only intention? Is to bring the best out of you. Ive flown alot of airplanes previously from RG to Cirrus. But, nevertheless ive flown some of the most challenging to date flights here at Flight Center flying a vastly twin engine, landing in a gust condition in a 2438meters runway with bunch of obstacles, or rehearsing some engine failure during take off with a 1500 feet tower infront of you few miles ahead. GOOD TIMES! At the end, i became a better pilot than i though. I met some of the finest aviator around this company. Fredy the owner, is very straight forward and treat his airplane like a queen! As for us, pilots we make sure we fly it passionately. While, maria is very accommodating and a top notch women pilot who flies king air alot. Shes most likely flying now in one of the finest airlines here in the u.s. A. While carlos, is one of the finest pilot i came across thoughtout my career.a relax and very skillful pilot, I couldn't say anything less, but rather i wish nothing but the best as they truly deserved it. Theyre gonna support and provide you the best tool and resources. And its up to you to make most of it!

I was blamed of never showing up but they Were the ones That never made proper accommodations With me. When I got injured during my training the owner never understood the Severity of injury, instead he kept nagging at me to come back and fly. That’s when I first started to suspect he only wanted money.

Then I had surgery on my knee and when I came back the owner didn’t have a set instructor, instructor canceled last minute or wouldn’t even say anything until I arrived to the airport. Then he started blaming me for not showing up, and lying about me not putting any effort.

After I decided to leave I found better instruction at better prices and was able to get my private, instrument and commercial licenses within 6months.

Wouldn’t recommend this school to anyone, the owner Freddy Ruiz only wants to get money out people no matter what.there are far better schools/instructors within the airport. Save your money!

Airplanes are in excellent condition and the staff is as friendly as can be. Great place for aircraft rental or training.

Purchased a 1hr flight as an anniversary present. The flight itself was good. But was greatly disappointed in the service. We arrived 15min's early for our flight. As we waited by the counter, no one acknowledged us. The owner and others came and went aND never said a word to us. Our pilot arrived at 9: 33am, after checking in and finding the plane he took them for their flight. They never got off the ground until 10am by 10: 37 we got a message that they had landed and were on their way back to the office.
We complained that we were cheated some of the time. They directed us to the owner who we contacted to see if they could reimburse the difference for the remaiming time since we paid $180 for 1hr flight time and only got 37 mins. Unwilling to even listen to what we were trying to say, the owner told us "Good luck with that! " And hung up the phone.

Would NEVER do business with them again! Beware! Don't dont be fooled. Flying is great, but dealing with people like this will ruin your whole experience and cheat you out of your money.

I had a great experience. The school is conveniently located at a hangar by hwo. It is an easy-going atmosphere that provides great flight training, rental aircraft, and other recreational flights. The prices are great compared to other schools and the aircraft are well maintained.

If you need a place to learn aviation just come here! They gonna given to you all the tools!
