Dr. Maizes was excellent and Caitlyn the Xray technician was excellent. The desk staff was very helpful in explaining my insurance benefits. I will continue to use their services.

My dentist was so fast and painless, went in for multiple tooth extractions. He numbed my gums and came back to check if I was numb and could feel anything. I thought he was scraping my teeth and poking them to check if I was numb. He asked me if I could feel anything I said no. He then told me that he is sewing my gums up and that they will come out by themselves. He had already removed 2 teeth without me even knowing. Doctor was awesome. Under 5 minutes in and out. Unbelievable.

If I could I would leave this place a negative rating! If you want professional service DO NOT GO HERE! Worst dental office I’ve ever been to in all my 56 years, the front manager is as rude as can be and extremely dismissive. The assistants in the back are just as rude and unprofessional as their manager, so I guess that makes sense in that place! Unfortunately I had the worst assistant Marcia or maysha who is pushy, rude, and degrading to the patients who walk in there. She made me feel extremely uneasy while I was in the chair. This place is not family friendly. All the Rude and crude are welcomed there! It’s disgusting. They also bill you for all these hidden fees you have no knowledge of. Unexpected fees that I have to pay whether it was their mistake or not, and if I don’t I will be sent to collections. This has been the worst experience I have ever had at a dental office. So much so I had to leave this review, my first by the way. It was that horrific in there. DO NOT BRING YOUR FAMILY OR FRIENDS HERE! DO NOT GO HERE! RUN! All insurance companies should really consider removing them from their list. That’s the only reason I went there. I WILL NOT BE BACK!

So I haven't had my teeth cleaned in 4years due to moving across country for my job. My teeth were really bad with tarter and tooth decay they really needed to work on it to get cleaned and it didn't even hurt. Which is a plus.they took there time and got my teeth right, recommended me for services that needed to get done and explained everything on detail to what my insurance will cover and what I will pay out of pocket. I called on Tuesday and got an appointment right away that same date, Normally, you have to wait monthsThis by far was a great dental experience. I highly recommend them.

Love the people I met and provided service to me at my last visit. I had not been to the dentist in many years because the hygenists were not gentle and just expected me to endure pain. Not the case here. Even though I had a lot of build up, Aurora worked through it, no pain for me. The dentist was very gentle as well and I'm going to have additional work completed through them. Highly recommend this office and I'm driving more than 1 hour.

This was my first time here. I had the new patient special and got a good deal on x-rays and cleaning. Everyone I met from the receptionist to the assistants, the doctor and the person who did the actual teeth cleaning was super nice and very professional. I have jumped in the past around looking for the right dentist and I think I found it. Great job to the entire staff.

Cleaning and xray done with short wait. Had a problem and tooth fixed a few days later. Great staff and fair prices. I pay to go there. My insurance limits the dentists I can see and I don't trust them since they want to charge me for services I don't need over and above what the policy covers. Fl dental keeps it simple.

The assistant was so professional and had such a light touch I was trying to convince her to go to dental school to become a dentist!

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! THEY WILL TRY TO BILL YOU FOR FEES THAT ARE NOT YOU RESPONSIBILITY. They seem all nice at the office and the services were ok but they kept sending me bills saying I owed more after what insurance paid. The first time I questioned a bill they told me to just disregard and throw it away because it’s not a true bill. The next time I got a bill and spoke to the billing department person, CHRISTIE, she said this was a true bill and I owed $85.40 for services not covered by my insurance. I told her I wanted a bill with a list emailed of fees im being charged for since the bill I received was very generic and only had an amount due with Florida dental centers on it. She said she’d woke on getting that and would call me back but never called back. Never got an email, never got a call. This was two + weeks. Today I received another bill for the same amount still with no list of fees, just another generic bill. When I called CHRISTIE again I was told the same thing about how my insurance only paid a certain amount and I’m responsible for the rest. CHRISTIE also called me RUDE on the phone before we disconnected. I then called my insurance company. My insurance agent got on the phone with CHRISTIE. When my insurance agent explained I didn’t have a balance and was never to be charged that CHRISTIE then said she had “talked to her corporate supervisor and was adjusting off the balance”. CHRISTIE clearly has no idea what she’s doing and will try to get money out of you that you don’t actually owe. I’m so disappointed with the Florida dental centers for trying to take advantage of people who don’t understand their benefits. Also disappointed their billing department, CHRISTIE is so disrespectful. BE SURE TO STAY AWAY!

I have been going to FL Dental Centers for the last 10 years. I have dental insurance that entitles me to free cleanings, however I would rather pay, because the care and quality service I receive is worth it. I was diagnosed with a immunological condition on my gums called Lichen Plantis that they have treated. My insurance paid for Dentist didn't even know what that is. The cleanings I received have reduced my gum depth from 5 to 1 in the last year. I recommend FL Dental Centers.

Have been getting my dental work done here for years. I've had everything from implants to cleanings and the staff have always been friendly as well as professional. I still schedule my annual checkups and cleanings during the year with them because they make me feel comfortable. A good group!

My wife and i have been coming here since 2004, and would not ever go any place else. The staff here is wonderful.

Everyone was professional and courteous. The hygienist and dentist showed genuine concern for the health of your teeth and gums and took their time with the service provided.

My entire family and many of my friends go to Dr. Tu and our favorite dental hygienist, Aurora. I personally have been going to Florida Dental in Clearwater since around 2010. I strongly recommend to anyone who asks me for a dental reference to seek-out Florida Dental in Clearwater and this team. Dr. Tu takes a conservative approach to my dental care and never forces unneeded procedures on me. She is extremely knowledgeable and professional. Aurora is one of the best dental hygienist I personally have had over the past 30 years of getting dental cleanings. Even the periodontist's hygienist I used while living in Chicago cannot compare to her thoroughness. I cannot praise this place enough!
