The most laughable government agency I've ever dealt with. Seriously they don't even have any humans working for them anymore it's all just automated phone lines that are made to hang up on you and a website that never works. Do not move to Florida, our government is trash. I can't even apply for unemployment after being laid off during a pandemic, I can't even get medicaid unless I have a kid. Welcome to the absolute worst state in the country, that cares the absolute least about its citizens.

I will be filing a lawsuit on behalf of my wife, who was unemployed for three months and did not receive the federally mandated payment.

Requested unemployment Jul5,2021 and payment request are still pending. Have not ever been able to speak to a customer representative due to call overload. Today's date is Dec3,2021 and zero progress has occurred!

I was laid off in September … received 2 payments and now it’s been 6 weeks since I’ve received a dime. I’m unemployed with 2 children.laid off due to Covid. I’ve turned in every single piece of paperwork they’ve asked for… i even received an approval letter, advising me I am eligible for payments. Any time I try to call DEO on the phone from 8 AM-6 PM the line Is “busy” and I get hung up on. I haven’t been able to talk to a real person in 6 weeks. I’ve sent tons of emails with no response.i have done my work “searches” as well as applying to jobs left and right.it’s seriously so sad the way this department runs i’m so frustrated. Anybody find any way to get some kind of information on your case?

I would give this ZERO stars if possible! I cannot login online & it says to call. I call & get a hold of anyone & the automated service hangs up on me. WTH? !? !

How are you supposed to contact these people if there is an error information that isn't correctable online? !? !? ! This department is horribly incompetent!

I’ve been calling for months and keep getting hung up on. Finally got through to someone two weeks ago on a Friday and she was trying to help me but once it turned 5: 15 she hung up on me! I’ve emailed and no response.

9 Months trying to get money that is owed to me. Last time I actually spoke to CSR I was informed that my issue was finally resolved by Management and that nothibg else was required of me. Told I would recieve my money in 30 to 60 days. That was 9 months ago. Have called back atleast 75 to 100 times and cant even get through no matter what time of day I call. DeSantos needs to get on top of this place ASAP.

How Do you Get Help? I am going into my third hour, trying to create an account as I got some random letter stating there was a claim against me…my company has one employee and that would be me. I am quite certain I did not make a claim against myself! Why don’t they mail the actual document instead of a letter stating that they are fully electronic system and you can retrieve your document online. After you make an account. Did I mention that when you try to make an account, the system refers you to their phone help line? And here we are. Three hours in, the same hold music, the same “Your call is very important to us. Please continue to hold while we connect your call to a customer service representative “. This message will be ingrained in my head for all of time…I think this is how cults program their disciples?

I guess my time doesn't matter. Hours on hold, system not allowing access and email sent to me to reset worked once. Went to log back in and same message of not correct account started again. And you want a dispute in 14 days vs 20 now? ! Give me a break. Horrible experience!

What is the whole purpose of unemployment? Got approved, haven't worked in a whole month. Still no help. I really feel like these people don't care. They need a whole new system, some of us ain't surviving of unemployment but need it for that specific period of time to get through whatever is going on. Whole situation is sad

Edit: for the first time in a year and a half, I was able to get through. I bumped it up to two stars, only because the sweet baby Angel named James answered. He was kind and helped me get my application errors in order. If it helps anyone, I pressed the “reset pin” option around 9: 30am and was able to leave a call back number. Just keep calling and pressing whatever options they list to you until you get through.

By FAR THE WORST reemployment state program ever. I've called this number at 8am all through the day through 8pm and it always says the lines are busy and then hangs up. The people and state who runs this program are garbage. Better of standing on the side of the rode and ask for change, you'll get faster help that way. So frustrated need help with resetting my phone number so i can gain access to my account, but no luck getting a hold of anyone

When you call its nothing but automated messages than when you finally get to the option to speak to someone it says they are extremely busy and to go online than hangs up on you

I have been trying for weeks to get unemployment as I was laid off from my job. The website is incredibly difficult to navigate and literally makes no sense. They have made it extremely difficult to get benefits for those going through a hard time. Desantis is literally the worst stop hating poor people

Ive have been locked out of my account for two weeks. Once I tried again. It locked again. Unable to speak to anyone.cant even get benefits started.what is the use of government assistance if you can't access it

If they would have 0 I would give them no stars whatsoever. Not one person answers the phone, no way to leave a message. They have an email address listed on their site, that got returned saying “messages undeliverable”.
I just received a letter that I own them money, with no explanation whatsoever. What in the world? !? !? !

The worst system ever. I have called, wrote letters contacted the governor, and senators and much more. You can not speak, leave messages, or send an email. I have been trying to collect my unemployment since the system was hacked. NOTHING. The Governor does not even have the common curtesy of returning your calls. I've been locked out the system for months I've verified myself through the verify ID me I've did numerous claims through the reemployment help center I've called on numerous. Occasions still haven't heard anything back from DEO I've been out of work since May this is just ridiculous after they finally paid me back pay I've been claiming my weeks for 8 weeks now and I haven't received any other payment and I keep getting a notice saying I have a pending issue when I read it it doesn't makes sense I need to speak to someone immediately this is beyond inconvenient
