Florida Department of Revenue Child Support Program - Fort Lauderdale

I called to find out info on a case.was told case is closed need to apply online. Went online to apply only to be told that I need to contact the office. Is the office off of commercial Blvd open? It is impossible to get things done over the phone or online.

Could never get a hold of someone when calling. There stupid voice prompt machine gives no viable solutions when you need to speak to a human being!

I don't know how an office like that has so disrespectful workers, I never request to open a case and was trying to understand, they were very rude, they also intimidate you

Phone rings rings rings and nobody ever picks up! I’ve had child support for 9 years through them and I am owed nearly 30K dealing with them and my interstate case these people are straight garbage

It's impossible to rich out anyone. Very disappointing how is Broward county office doing bad job to compare with Dade county office.

I have been to this office on at least 3 occasions and that I have always been treated well. The office is organized and impressively efficient. I have always had my questions answered clearly and completely. Today, I had the particular pleasure of being helped by Ms. Walker at window 2. She even stayed after closing time to finish printing some documents for me. She was patient and kind. Pursuing child support is an unpleasant business but I believe this office makes every effort to help navigate the system and I am grateful for their assistance. Thank you.

This has to be the most unorganized child support enforcement office they have lost my paperwork three times, and I’m rushing having to take off work multiple times in order to keep my case open, please teach the employees there jobs. Being told multiple times that I have to come back because my paperwork is completed incorrectly is so unprofessional what’s the point of waiting to speak to someone and they check over your paperwork if they’re not making sure it’s completed to it’s entirety wasting my time over and over again? This is a hassle for a single working mother. Please get it together.

Very well organized office location in Fort Lauderdale. Wait time is always minimal. If you arrive rightvwhen it opens there is never a wait which helps a lot so I don’t miss work. The staff is always very helpful and friendly.

This is the WORST place to work! Managers are terrible, don't care about their employees. They only try to bring you down and get you in trouble! DON'T EVER GO TO WORK HERE!

I usually do not post reviews but my experience has been so terrible with this organization that I cannot stay silent. The employees do not help at all and treat you so rudely. The response is always give us 90 days before you check on your payment status again with no explanation or support. I have been waiting approximately 2,920 days for their help now and have not received it. It is a shame, depressing and unbelievable how useless this organization is and an absolute waste of resources.

Chances are like winning the lottery to talk to someone. My child support is coming from a different state and has records of payments for 2 months yet the FL child support office says they have nothing. Even other states say how terrible Florida's child support enforcement office is!

My child has to go hungry because no one will pick up their phone and they made a mistake on my case.

My experience at this office has been wonderful. I'm not for sure if I'm going at the right time but it's never any wait. I went with my one-and-a-half-year-old and my three month old they both were crying at the same time while I was trying to fill out paperwork. One of the workers came over and assist me with the girls, so I could finish my paperwork. Thank you so much, just the little things

Horrible, employees don't know how to speak english nor how to type it in a computer. Horrible service, make you wait for no reason to lie to your face about the "solutions" to their mess up. Not even worth the 1 start.

A horribly run system, run by incompetents that serves no definable purpose other than to confuse court orders.

They are a bunch of Criminals and liers, they was under investigation by the FBI. The managers are very disgusting. The best person there is the guy that is over everyone. But the Managers will try to block you from speaking to him. Everyone at the windows pretend to be Managers.

This office and Palm Beach are completely out of touch with humanity and what their job actually is. The system needs to be completely destroyed and built anew! Negative a thousand stars!

I'm going to give five stars as to what your true potential could be! That may require an entire intensive training program. Thank you for my career. Eighteen years ago it was because of the department of revenue child support enforcement staffer's behavior that I began helping people with all child support issues. I've enjoyed every minute.
