On Wednesday if the DMV doesn't open till 9 then employee's shouldn't come till 8 not 7 in the morning sitting around wasting county money. What are they getting paid to do. Sit around and look at people standing in line for two hours and please update your website it saus you open at 8. Not 9 on Wednesday

The only reason I am giving them 5 stars is because James and the supervisor whom I do not know his name were very helpful and professional. They made the process very smooth.
Thanks very much.

Worst tax collector office ever, grabbed a ticket one station for everybody ridiculous 3 ppl ahead waited 20 min left because only one customer served for that time plus random people walking in and just going to the counter paying their fees and taxes skipping the line ridiculous don’t go there waste of time

The location is on corner of Hillsborough and 56th street.

Appears to be a large office park, and once was a mall from decades ago. Take the entrance from Hillsborough Avenue.

The office is just inside this mall, and is very small but has plenty of plastic chairs.

Make sure you guys do your homework big time or you will make multiple visits until you achieve your goal.

I was helped by a very helpful party but I still need to return with a bunch of stuff.

Oh yeah, and the people at the office keep saying over and over it's Florida's law.

Most of the people who walk in the door have no idea what they are doing and what they need. The problem starts when guys say that they cannot help them and customer explodes. People need to read what they sign and do not rely on government to protect them from their stupidity.
Every time I am there I hear one person after another trying to register a car, renew driver license, complain at the dealer without proving ownership of the car or do some very non-logical things. I do not know how this "asian guy" keeps it together.
I think they can make a website like "people of Walmart" and post the most ridiculous requests. Sometimes I want to cry when I hear what people are asking.

PS Payment requirement indeed changed recently. No more cash, but accepting Credit cards free of charge

I have had nothing but trouble with that office. They change the rules at a whim and there is never a supervisor around to help out. I have sent several people there and they all complain about how difficult it is to deal with the asian guy at the counter. He seems to enjoy sending people away without completing the inspection and title process and harassing customers in general. The process is hard enough without him changing the rules- one day he says they can't take credit cards after 3 and the next time he says they can't take checks after 3 only credit cards. Don't go there on a Friday because you will hear that there is no one there to print the title and you will have to come back another day. I can't believe there aren't more negative reviews about this office because everyone I send is hopping mad about the way they were treated. It is very obvious that you are a captive customer and the DMV just does not care. Keep that in mind when you go there because its the only show in town, sadly.

I was turned away by Steve the inspector because my tires didn’t say dot. When I have had multiple people, including several people who already had there golf carts inspected by them, say other wise. Then when I came back from 45 mins away, the new inspector I had, James contradicted everything Steve said. I wasted time and money to have to go back a second time, all because they are not on the same page about what the regulations are. Not to mention the fact that everyone that came into the office was sent away for one thing or another. This is the only place around for 7 counties so be sure you do your research on everything you need prior to going to this place. They are not accommodating at all. Not to mention the fact the First Lady I was greeted by was so rude I had to request to talk to her supervisor. What a joke. Seriously get your employees on the same page.
